I’ve been ordering the same drink from Starbucks for the last 15 years… Venti Iced Vanilla Latte w/an extra shot of espresso. You would think with all of the coffee grounds in the bottom of my drink and the extra shot of espresso I paid for, that this would have a nice strong flavor just like at every other Starbucks I’ve ever enjoyed… it tasted like lightly sweetened dishwater that someone cleaned their coffee pot in. I couldn’t finish it I was so turned off. Caro deserves better…I won’t be back.

Absolutely love the new Starbucks in Caro! The store looks amazing — modern, clean, and super cozy. The couches, chairs, and tables are not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable, making it a great spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done.

The staff here is truly wonderful — friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You can tell they care about creating a great experience for every customer. My drink was made perfectly, and the service was quick even during a busy time.

The location is convenient and easy to get to, with plenty of parking. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or planning to stay awhile, this Starbucks is definitely worth a visit. A fantastic addition to the community — highly recommend stopping by!

***Update 02/02/2026 – My previous review was for the ONE time. I’ve been back 3 times and my orders were the same and horrible. Not lying. They taste like peppermint brown frozen water. Are they making it with water now? Is everyone trained differently? For the cost…no! I will be making the drive to Port Huron again.

I was so glad to see the new store in Caro Michigan. The peppermint mocha Frappuccino with a shot of espresso is the bomb. That’s all I’ve had at this new store.

I normally always have a pleasant experience at Starbucks. I’ve tried the Caro one 3 times and all 3 times one my drinks has been wrong. The one time I was so stressed out with life and it just sent me into tears when I was down the road and realized the drink was “off”. I really hope that it improves, as I understand growing pains. I know now just to do regular coffee at the Caro one because they haven’t seemed to nail the specialty drinks.
I will say, there have been 2 women workers who were phenomenal. The one handed me a sample of the coffee I was asking about and the other made me a drink and told me to try the coffee before leaving to make sure I liked the roast. I thought that was so sweet.
I will continue to go and I hope for better with the specialty drinks!

1st time… I ordered iced latte with oat milk I watched the girl make it with whole milk. She had to remake it. 2nd time…. waited in line inside forever to get our drinks. A lady waiting at the front desk to get her order taken finally left because no one was waiting on her. 3rd time…. drive-thru, waited for a long long time got to the window they did not have my order had to reorder at the window. The owner needs to be on site 24/7 or whenever they’re open with a good manager because obviously these people are not trained well. Very sad because this could take off in Caro but it won’t if the service is this bad.

Attended the grand opening and such an amazing experience! One of the most beautiful Starbucks I have been inside! Service was so great and the drinks came out on point! What a wonderful addition to the community! Keep up the good work!

Well, It’s Starbucks. Girls are very friendly. No crazy people so far.. usually you go to the Starbucks and everybody has blue hair and their antisocial.. these are some very friendly girls with manners. The coffee is very good and the food is good.

I came through the lobby as the drive thru was very busy. I was greeted but then I stood at the counter for about 5 minutes and no one said anything else to me. I was confused as if there was a kiosk that I was supposed to be ordering from because of how long it took for someone to help me. Finally a girl walked over and said “what can I get for you.” Not “sorry about the wait…” or just said “I’ll be with you shortly.” Then I walked back up and asked the red head for a sauce packet for my wraps and she said siracha? I said yes that’d be great and she walked away into the kitchen and never came back, I saw her messing with bread, I waited patiently and assessed my surroundings before I knew she forgot about me and I had to ask another very busy girl for the siracha. I feel as if communication and customer service needs to be worked on. You all were very busy with the drive thru -I acknowledge that- but please pay attention to the customers in the lobby too.
