Second time trying the place and I have to say it is well worth it. First time I had the Turkey leg with the Cajun Mac & cheese, delicious. This time I ordered the Turkey leg with the chicken Tetrazzini, well worth it. The two young ladies at the registers were very helpful and suggested the items from the menu even the dish of the day. They were very friendly even the gentleman at the door held the door open for us. Definitely recommend Mrturkeyleg for anyone trying to get their money’s worth, a good meal, and an inviting atmosphere.

I was visiting here on a work trip. The locals recommended this place. Being from San Antonio, Texas, we love our smoked turkey legs. I had the smoked and the smothered hot honey turkey legs. Both were delicious. Fall off the bone delicious!! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in Jackson Mississippi.

I highly recommend the Food was very good and tasty. I will definitely be a repeat customer!!! Oh yeah nice date nights fun ideas too. Good food and drinks and pool tables! My experience at this restaurant was amazing. Especially the young lady that took my order. She greeted me with a beautiful smile, and a wonderful respectful hello how you’re doing today. She took my order with no problem. She kept that same smile while taking my order. After taking my order wait time about 10mins top. Food was hot, and ready for eating. But I had to drive back home I had 4 different orders. Made it home everyone was waiting on there orders. After everyone finished eating they was well satisfied with there order, there was no disappointment on are about there food. Oh by the way I got a chance to meet one of the owners Mrs. Lanier. People I highly recommend this when it come to byram. It will be a big twist.

I got the oxtail potato. It was pretty dang good. Cooked great, tender, flavorful and plenty of food. Ill have to go back and try the turkey legs but if I dont comment again then the rating stayed the same.

Not what I expected. I had the mac & cheese turkey leg and couple of ribs. I will go back for the ribs but not for a turkey leg. I’m disappointed in the taste of both turkey legs and mac & cheese.

Omg! The food was absolutely delicious. This was my first visit but definitely not the last. I ordered the amazing stuff turkey leg with cajum macaroni I also ordered the stuffed baked potatoes with beef brisket. The food was a 10! I felt the food was pricey but the portion sz made up for the expense. I also ordered 3 of the very modest price deserts(cake) and a Faygo for $1.50! Me & my husband was stuffed and I got a little left overs and my deserts for later! Im new to Jackson I cant wait until my friends & family visit so I can bring them to the awesome Mr. Turkey!

I’ve eaten here several times and I noticed I never left a review. The food overall is delicious. I ordered alot of turkey legs. My favorite may be the Jamaican jerk and cajun. I do advise getting the cajun with light seasoning or getting the seasoning on the side if you dont like your food a bit salty but its really good. The beans and potato salad is good. The ribs are my favorite though. Its hard to find good ribs around here and they deliver. Good place to try. The price can be on the higher side but everything is getting expensive these days.
