This was my first time visiting China one in a very long time. Ran in to pick up a little bit for my wife and me. The selection was great along with the service. The fried rice combo was delicious and filling for two along with the spring rolls. I can walk to this place and can see myself ordering from there a lot.

It’s been over a decade since I last stopped by China One, and guess what? They’re still holding it down strong If you’re craving simple, delicious Chinese food that comes out hot and fast, then this is the spot!
Menu Items:
1. Chicken Wings with Shrimp Fried Rice.
2. Honey Chicken with Shrimp Toast & Shrimp Fried Rice.

I did the too good to go order and food was horrible. The pick up times were between 230-6. Got there around 5ish to pick it up. The food was super COLD!! It look like it had been sitting in that plate since 230. If you’re not going to do it the correct way then don’t do it. That food could make someone super sick. It I could leave a zero I would.

3/7/24 I usually come for the fabulous lunch buffet! For about 11 bucks you can build your own box with classic American style Chinese staples like egg rolls, beef and bell pepper, fried rice, and more! This is the location of the BEST SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN IN THE CITY! I don’t know what’s in the batter but their version of this dish is leagues above others in town. A light and crisp outer layer and then soft and pillowy and then juicy chicken bathed in a standard red dipping sauce. Out of this world! They also make the best MEI FUN in the city! I just ask for no curry!

We’ve eaten here several times over the past year. Mostly for convenience. It’s also next to a card shop. I’ve never felt bad after eating there. Nor have I thought I paid too much. Food is pretty standard fare. They have a lunch buffet, but I’ve never tried it. Bathrooms are surprisingly clean, consistently. I don’t normally take a picture. But I felt it important. Service is fine, also pretty standard. It’s a good place for some chinese, fast.

If you’re ever near Airline and Bluebonnet and looking for a great meal, you have to check out this Chinese place. Seriously, it never fails. For about $13 dollars, you get a huge box of food and a drink, and it’s always fresh and tastes great. My wife and I frequent this place for takeout because the portions are generous and the food quality is consistently good. If you’re looking for a great value, you won’t be disappointed.

This was the WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life & NEVER will I go back. This was my first time ordering since new owners took over & not only are their prices quite a bit higher, their food is absolutely disgusting & nothing like the previous owners. I never leave reviews but after paying $40 for 2 sesame chickens & an order of crab Rangoons (supposed to come with 6 but only gave me 5!) & it all literally being inedible, I’m quite upset since I had to fix another meal so my kids can eat. The sesame chicken sauce now tastes like a rancid sweet and sour sauce that is so thick that it’s gel like, & the lo mein is made of this thick noodles that taste like mush. If they were still open (it’s past 10 now) I’d drive back to the restaurant in Baton Rouge from Denham (I drove 30 minutes to Baton Rouge just to good Chinese but instead got this) to have my $ reimbursed for this inedible meal! Once China One customers go there to eat once they definitely won’t return, and such a shame bc the previous owners’ food was amazing. I feel bad leaving such a negative review bc the owner was very kind, but the food is God awful and no one in my family would eat it.

The sesame seed shrimp didn’t taste fresh & I couldn’t believe how much they were breaded. The fried rice was yellow. It gave every bit of boxed rice. I was not expecting this for $20. Customer service was good though.

I came to this restaurant because of the wonderful reviews. I was so disappointed. The food was not fresh, I can tell they put the food in the to go container put it in the microwave and it burned holes in the bottom of the to go container. I don’t like puffed sweet and sour chicken I’m used to seeing the chicken not having it covered in some toasted outer layer. I was not aware it was sold like that. That was my first time and last time.
