There were some other customers coming in when we got there, so we waited just a couple minutes (not long at all), but he was so generous and gave us cookies for the wait—it totally made our day!
Thank you so much. We hope to come back soon!!
I will be back.
Ohh and they have decaf options if you’re interested. Huge win in my books.
First impressions. Big open seating area with plenty of light. Young service personnel were casually dressed – hoody, t-shirt, leggings. It wasn’t crowded. Friendly and very casual. One restroom was closed, the other was dirty – nobody cleaned it during off hours. The tables and floors are covered in crumbs. Summary: The atmosphere is college dormitory cozy – with expected lack of cleanliness, attention to detail, and old furniture.
On to the coffee and food. The cappuccino is mainly milk and not frothy milk, just warm milk with perhaps one espresso shot – weak. The croissant is at least a day old. It looks appetizing, but the tell is when it is served warm, reheated and during cooling while eating you notice it becomes hard quickly. On the “bready” side, the croissant lacks the flaky layering that makes a croissant a croissant.
Service was friendly. Wifi works well. Vibe is casual. Plenty of light. Mediocre coffee and croissant at best.
The wish to upgrade my breakfast experience left me with one thought – “how is this the best rated café in the area?” Overrated. Next time I’ll just go to Starbucks where I can expect a better than average coffee/croissant breakfast experience.
Still looking for the “upgrade” in this part of town.
Had the french toast croissant and the egg & bacon sandwich.
Didn’t realize the croissant would be both halves – so it was a bit much for me.
The chai tea was delicious.
Definitely worth stopping by for breakfast.
