I specifically went to this restaurant because I had the hush puppies before and they reminded me of Long John Silver, it was my first and only time I had gone here. There are many closer restaurants who sell hush puppies by me so thats a compliment. But sad to say I am disappointed. Customer service was great but the hush puppies were fried too hard, almost burnt. The conch taste fine. The cake is awful, dry, not much flavor, and I am questioning if it’s fresh. I could have given a higher ranking because I did enjoy thr conch and sauce but the cake was just bad and I think expired. I don’t think I will be returning.

Delicious! I would say they are in my top 3 for my favorite fried chicken places. Crispy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. The service was great and the food is cooked to order so it’s all very fresh. I didn’t feel the pricing was bad considering how much food you get. I will be back!

Their fries in their chicken taste like fried paper. The seasoning is terrible. Please don’t waste your time and money. I’ve been going and trying to fool ever since it was Captain Jay’s. The food was terrible back then and it’s terrible now. They just need to shut this place down. Not to mention the size of the chicken is a complete joke.
