I come here a lot during the week to do some studying and locking in for school. The employees are always super sweet and it’s a great place to focus. One time I was with a friend and we were studying here for a good 4 hours until closing, when we were on our way out, the employee refilled our drinks to take on our way home. It was such a sweet gesture. They also draw really cute faces on the cups, and it’s such a cute gesture. I love coming here.

On Monday, 11/3/25, I walked in with a friend around 8:50pm. There were no hours of operation posted on the door, so I politely asked the individual behind the counter until what time they were open that day. He mumbled something under his breath, without looking up. Neither me nor my friend heard him, so I said, “I’m sorry?” At which, still not looking up, he yelled “NINE!!!”, with as much annoyance and attitude as you can imagine. We would have happily left and come back another time, had he just politely told us that they’re about to close. There is absolutely no need to speak to anyone that way, when they’re just politely asking a relevant question. Will not be back to this location, as getting yelled at for no reason is not on my to-do list.

Came in and asked for a cup of ice for my toddler who was car sick. Cashier who was a male teenager said I have to buy something first. I said I only wanted a little bit off ice for my toddler, he said “I understand” and gave me the Gen Z stare so I walked out. After that exchange I didn’t even want the ice anymore.
I’ve asked for a cup of water or ice before at other Starbucks locations for my toddler without buying anything and they were very understanding.
I would think twice if you are a parent with kids and want to come to this location. Especially after I read another review where an employee told a special needs child to be quiet. This place is the worst.

I had gone to another starbucks who completely made my drink disgusting.
I stumbled upon this starbucks a few minutes later and went in to ask if they could help me and offered to pay for a new one as needed. They said absolutely not (to paying again) and made me a new drink and even offered me a bakery item for having to visit a second starbucks just to get my order right.
The whole staff was so nice and accommodating and truly made my morning so much better. The way they handled the situation is exactly how customer service should be executed.

I ordered a personalized caffe vanilla Frappuccino and boy was it terrible. This is a regular order of mine and I usually get it from the Uniondale location and it’s ALWAYS spot on. Ordering from the Garden City location I thought it would be spot on or even better but to my surprise it was awful. I couldn’t drink it. The first pic is how I got it, the second pic was how it looked in a couple of minutes. I like my frapps thick so I always ask for Heavy cream, this Frappuccino was clearly made with whole milk and not made with love.
The customer service is good, the barrister skills, I’m not too sure about.
I gave 3 stars for effort and also for letting me know that I can get a refund or have another drink made.
