We had a wonderful dinner with tuna tataki as a starter, followed by pork belly and deer steak. The tuna tataki was exceptional and clearly showed the chef’s creativity and excellent use of Japanese ingredients. We loved the main dishes as well. The deer steak was a little tough for my personal preference, though still much better than one we had recently at a hotel restaurant. My partner found the smoked pork belly slightly salty, but that’s expected for a smoked dish and didn’t take away from the enjoyment.

It was close to where I stayed, and every night the restaurant seemed full, so I decided to go dine out at the end of my trip. There was only Dutch menu, but server explained me in English.
I ordered steak and wine, I didn’t want to have French fries on side, so I asked salad potion can be increased instead, but he maybe didn’t understand what I asked for. I’d appreciate if they did it. The steak was very tasty with mushrooms sauce and tender. The wine was also great match with steak. I’ll definitely go back if I have a chance.

Very enjoyable dining experience in Fons last night after some ropey dining experiences elsewhere over the last week.
The ambience and decor sets the scene for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience.
It was my wife’s birthday so we wanted a memorable evening. The staff looking after us were really excellent from the start to the finish of the evening.
My wife had a lovely foie gras starter and I had white asparagus. For mains, she had the salmon and I had entrecôte. We had nice wine to accompany the meal. We both agree it was a really marvellous evening. This is a really classy place to go and enjoy so we heartedly recommend that you do with confidence.

A wonderful discovery one evening in December. Belgian cuisine (croquettes, vol-au-vent, etc.) but also burgers and other sports. Very welcoming, I wanted to return on a Friday evening but couldn’t get a table, so it’s best to book ahead.

Very friendly service and extremely helpful to help us as we fully may not understand the menu where is it non English. Food is also tasty, well presented and in good portion. Always appreciate hot food in cold weather.
