We checked out Café Verde after a local realtor raved about it, and I’m glad we did. It’s tucked behind a Mexican restaurant on Flagler Beach, with plenty of parking if you come in through the back. Even though it was a rainy day, the covered outdoor seating was comfortable and inviting. The whole place has a modern yet cozy vibe, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.
I went with the tuna poke bowl while my wife had the quinoa salad with shrimp, and we added a side of yuca fries. Everything was incredibly fresh, plated beautifully, and tasted just as good as it looked. The menu is really diverse, so whether you’re craving something light or something hearty, you’ll definitely find it here.
The service was quick, the mocktails were excellent, and overall the whole experience was top-notch. We’re already talking about what we’ll try on our next visit. This spot is an easy five stars from us.

Great little spot in New Smyrna Beach! I loved the menu selection – honestly I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to order.. I was going between Thai Curry, Tina poke bowl, Bibimpap and Quinoa salad – I decided it will have to be a quinoa salad and I will have to come back several times to try everything else. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a great fusion of different ethnic cuisines. My salad was great! My husband ordered tuna poke bowl, that was very flavorful – the presentation was beautiful!
We got a side of yucca fries garnished with butter garlic sauce; it was perfectly crisp and delicious.

What a wonderful restaurant. The menu is full of the most creative and healthy offerings. My wife and I have been dining here since 2014. This family’s commitment to excellence in providing a healthy fresh and unique dining experience is second to none. Maureen ( our server ) is so charming and accommodating , she is a true joy . We ordered one of the most delicious tacos we’ve ever experienced, a terrific creation “ BLT Scallops GFO 20 “ WOW ! The blended flavors and sides of rice with sweet fried plantains are perfect. We also had the “ Chips & Salsa Sampler “ . Three fresh made delicious dips with tortilla chips. Did I mention the best Red Sangrias! When we drive over 35 miles to New Smyrna Beach , we always dine here. They’ve recently renovated and it’s a beautiful restaurant,full of expressive character and wonderful offerings. “ Try It…You’ll Like It “ or Love it as my wife and I have for over 12 years. You’ll be Blessed by the experience.

My husband and I were taken to Cafe Verde for lunch. We sat in their outdoor garden area, which was absolutely lovely. The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. I had the curry dish with vegetables and I added tofu. It was fabulous. The curry sauce was smooth and rich, with just the right amount of heat. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and delicious. The tofu was crispy and absorbed the sauce perfectly. A small mound of black rice completed the plate, which was quite lovely itself. My husband had the vegetable salad with chicken, which he reported as very good. Don’t miss this hidden gem!
