Really impressed with how delicious the food was! It was nice to receive complimentary small sides to share before our meal came (broccoli, macaroni salad, squash(?), and kimchi). The fried chicken sampler was bigger than expected and was plenty for sharing – we also got the Buldak (my favorite!), and the LA Galbi. The food came out fairly quickly. Reservations recommended as the restaurant filled up pretty quickly on a Friday night after 6 pm. Ambiance was definitely a plus – nice for an intimate evening for date night or with friends. Overall wonderful experience!

Highly recommend checking this restaurant out! Friendly and very efficient staff. Great menu with mocktails and a variety of dishes. We got the rosé tteokbokki which was so creamy and delicious. It is topped with sausages and a couple pieces of fried chicken. The spicy stir fry squid is so flavorful and it is cooked very well. The pork belly was not my favorite by itself but very good when wrapped in some of the kale salad or kimchi that they gave us.

Now for my standard comments. Location is clean and well kept. Very comfortable and chill indoor seating. The only thing to note is that the entrance is downstairs below a record store and I am unsure if there is another, more handicap accessible entrance.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We booked our reservation online and were seated immediately. Service was fast, and the food was outstanding. Complimentary items like kimchi were a great touch. The beef dumplings were perfectly crispy, and the highlights were the incredibly tender beef short ribs and the flavorful miso butter chicken. Highly recommend and definitely returning to try the other dishes.

Came here on a Sunday with my family for a late lunch and had a great experience. Although the restaurant is located downstairs, the space is bright, modern and welcoming. We love Korean food and this place did not disappoint. The braised short ribs were incredibly tender and full of flavor. We also really enjoyed the soy garlic chicken (boneless Korean fried chicken), which was crispy and not overly saucy or too sweet. Will definitely be back to try some other Korean dishes.

Amazing place in the heart of Montclair NJ. Went here for dinner with my significant other, my stepdaughter and a friend. From the moment you walk in you are able to feel comfortable. Everything we ate was served hot, fresh and delicious. The presentation of food was excellent as well. Stop by and try some Korean food. It’s worth it!

Stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to celebrate my mother’s graduation and let me say it was better than I could’ve ever expected. We started with some gyozas that were truly tasty. They provide a nice spread of sauces and other small plates to compliment the meal. Their Yuzu Ade and Green Plum Ade were delicious refreshing drinks. We ordered the braised short ribs that were tender and packed with flavor, the pork belly which was succulent and melted in your mouth, the shin ramyun fried rice and table favorite and the unanimous winner that day was the spicy stir-fried chicken. Will definitely by back soon and make it a regular spot of mine.

I actually loved that this restaurant was downstairs, it made it seem cozier! The atmosphere is very nice for a date with your loved one. The kimchi soup came out boiling and I was very impressed with the flavor profiles. Enjoyed the yuzu and green plum ades, japchae was great as well. I also ordered the spicy squid stone bowl which was so hot that it made it more spicier! The staff was super nice as well. Enjoyed everything (side dishes too), would def come back again ☺️

This is a warm, cozy Korean restaurant serving comforting Korean dishes in Montclair. I did not expect to find such high-quality Korean food in this neighborhood. Every seat was filled by the time I finished eating, with several parties waiting to be seated, which says a lot. The prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. We ordered three dishes for three people and still had plenty left over because we were so full. Some of the menu items are not easy to find in Manhattan, such as the squash braised short ribs, and this dish tasted amazing. The baby kale and scallion salad with Korean dressing that comes with it also made me want to keep eating. I live in Manhattan, so it is not easy to come back often, but I am glad to know where to go the next time I am in the Newark area.

The food was good. The drink i got was the coconut matcha and it was very good. It did have some bubbles which i wasnt expecting. My daughter asked for soy sauce and it took a long time to get it so I asked a busboy for soy sauce and he got it, later my daughter asked for soysauce from our server and she brought out what looked like light brown water, not the dark brown soy sauce we had before and it tasted like nothing, so we asked again thinking it was a mistake, but then they brought the brown water again.
They also informed us that there was a 1.5 hour limit on tables or 2 or 3, which is fine i guess (I didn’t know that before hand) but the service was slow so I was a little worried we would go over time and my daughter wouldn’t eat more of her dish without soy sauce and we were waiting a long time for it. The food was excellent i have the bulgoji stone bowl. But the service wasnt great.

Very unexpected experience for a place that we actually stumbled upon. From the atmosphere to the accommodation! With no reservation and a packed house, we were able to be seated in under 20 mins! Price points and quality were excellent and I have absolutely no complaints. I’m happy to say that we’ve found our new date spot. Unfortunately, we came around without the biggest appetite but I really hope we came on an empty stomach because the smells and plates coming around to every table were immaculate.
