I used to go here pretty often about 5 years ago, but not so much lately. Last night (NYE) we went around 10, and were ready to leave around 11:30 because it was getting too crowded and loud. We stood at the bar for literally 25 minutes waiting just to get our tab and card back for 3 drinks because they only had two people on the packed bar 30 minutes before new years. Someone came around behind the bar with shots and I yelled (because you had to yell to be heard at this point in the night) no thanks we’ve been waiting 20 minutes for our tab and only then did another person come to the end of the bar to deal with the crowd of people. So anyway that’s how we were stuck in our car when new years hit, thanks jimmys

Nice nostalgic Irish bar. Lots of nostalgia to look at on the walls. The bar counter, high tables and chairs were clean. Great hangout for college kids with indoor and outdoor areas. Parking is a little limited after 6 :00pm when the college crowd arrives. Typical bar food that tasted good, nice friendly service by bar staff.

Stopped in here a couple times while on vacation. It’s one of our friend’s favorites. In particular we had hands down the best service on April 16th. We left the Journey concert and drove around looking for food. There was another place open that would only serve drinks and wouldn’t cook food and they were rude about it. But that’s ok bc they took care of us at Jimmy’s. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich, cheese curds, and a drink. Wonderful! Thanks so much!

You can find the Peoria Men’s and Women’s rugby teams at Jimmy’s just about every Thursday after practice and on Saturdays after home matches. Thank you Jimmy’s for Food, Fun, and Friendship!

A great neighborhood pub. It will make anyone feel a little bit Irish when you walk in. Good drink specials, interesting decorations covering the walls and ceiling, and loud and boisterous, like a good pub should be. I recommend having a pint or three when you are in the area.

Remember those bars with authentic atmosphere vs generated (aka Applebee’s)? Jimmy’s is the real deal. It reminds me of the places we’d frequent after finals or at the start of a semester. The bar is fantastic — shout-out to the very excellent team of Gracie and Noah! — and the patio is perfect for any celebration or just a relaxing lunch or kicking back after work with friends. I’ll def be back!

Great place. Everyone is a friend so it feels like you’re at your friend’s house just a lot of fun. Plus. Check out the pictures on the walls, everyone gone there.

Loud and way too crowded. Good beer and bartenders though.

Nice old Peoria establishment. Irish bar. Not a ton of Irish specific food, but what I had was good and traditional pub fare. Some nice liquor selections. Old fashioned atmosphere.
