My family and I recently dined at Rey Azteca Mexican Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and fantastic staff. We opted to sit outside on their spacious patio, which was beautifully set up with nice tables, chairs, and umbrellas, perfect for enjoying the gorgeous weather.
We started with chips and salsa, and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. The fresh guacamole, served in an authentic molcajete, was a standout. Our entrees included Barilla tacos, a pork burrito, fish tacos, and shrimp quesadillas – all of which were absolutely amazing. The salsa and guacamole were incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor.
The patio’s LED “flame” lights added a charming ambiance, making the evening even more enjoyable. The fresh chips were a delightful touch, perfectly complementing the overall experience.
Rey Azteca has quickly become our go-to spot for the best Mexican food in the area. Highly recommend!

Today Julian was our server today and he provided excellent service , was available for all of our requests and was very tuned in to the table and tables around us.
Chips and salsa are FREE AND INCLUDED- and delicious.
Really quick service the food came out to the table in less than 20 minuets.
I ordered Birria tacos (they come in orders of 3, with the juice , and a side order of refried beans – THEYRE AMAZING!!! The best I’ve ever had honestly.
And Spanish rice- both are included with the tacos.
My friend got the chimi mole and HOLY SNAP-
The mole sauce was wonderful! Sweet and chocolatey with a hint of cinnamon!
His order also came with included rice and beans were in the chimichanga.
For desert we got the flan
And a side order of ice cream!
The flan was sweet, butterscotch flavors, lots of liquid
Parking is available directly out front

It quickly has become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! All the servers we have had were extremely friendly. There is one server who is so sweet and nice, she is our favorite! The food comes out very quickly, there is not much of a wait. They also have complimentary warm chips & salsa that are really good to snack on while waiting. Definitely try the nachos, tacos and margaritas, they are all too good!!

So came here on my way home to Philly just on a whim and the food atmosphere and hospitality was amazing . The decor is soooo beautiful I just had to take pictures, our server was so nice, food came out so fast and fresh. The margaritas were phenomenal also. Highly recommend!

In my opinion – this restaurant is awesome! My wife and I go here a couple times a month. I like to sneak out and go out for lunch too, as I ove their tacos carnitas.
You can’t go wrong, we have had many things on the menu, and all of them are as delicious as the previous one. I love their tortilla chips. They bring out a big bowl and a generous portion of salsa. They are so good, that every time I’m there I ask for a bag of chips and salsa to take home.
They also have a very nice bar, the restaurant itself is beautiful, they have some very colorful paintings on the booths. and chairs. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and a ton of fun to go to.
Their staff is very friendly and professional. They are very attentive, always checking on you, and genuinely care about your experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, I know you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Food was excellent, service was good, but the waiter didn’t write down our order, and they gave me chicken fajitas instead of steak. 9/10 for accuracy.
Other than that everything was great, I would go back here again if I was in the area.

This is a super solid neighborhood Mexican restaurant. The burritos are great. The burrito Azteca is my favorite. I’m a sucker for the cheese sauce on top, and the chicken, chorizo and veggies inside play well together. The margaritas are very generously portioned as well.
At lunch, I have enjoyed the shrimp fajitas and the lunch fajita burrito. That burrito is also tasty – personal preference, I like having the rice inside the burrito. Other popular items include the taco salad and steak fajitas- always sizzling!
