We have been to this place dozens of times over the last twenty years, this past visit, the first in over five years is still above average. The bbq chicken pizza would be great if the bbq sauce was good, it is not tasty at all. The rigatoni w chicken and bacon however was something better than Olive Garden could do, it was a masterpiece, if they added a bit more seasoning it would be divine.

Decent food, better folks.

Personally, pizzas and calzones/strombolis were a bit dry to my liking (unless you count the grease). Did takeout. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Feels a bit more like a pub atmosphere with the lighting and decor vs. family friendly but not necessarily a bad thing.

Pino’s Pizza is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece disguised as a pizza joint—though calling it a “joint” almost feels like an insult! From the moment you step inside, you are transported to the heart of New York City itself, thanks to the jaw-dropping Statue of Liberty standing proudly in the middle of the dining room. The ambiance is pure magic, blending impeccable décor with an atmosphere so inviting it feels like a five-star fine dining experience rather than your average pizza place.
Now, let’s talk about the pizza—oh, the pizza! A perfect 10 out of 10 doesn’t even begin to describe the explosion of authentic New York flavors in every bite. The crust is perfection, the cheese melts like a dream, and the sauce bursts with that classic, rich tomato goodness that only true New York pizza can deliver. It’s an absolute masterpiece that will have your taste buds singing for days.
Whether you’re planning a romantic date night, a fun hangout with friends, a girls’ night out, or a cozy family dinner, Pino’s Pizza is the ultimate destination in Richmond, Virginia. The staff is unbelievably friendly, greeting every guest with genuine smiles that light up the entire room. I honestly don’t think I saw a single person in the restaurant who wasn’t beaming with happiness—from the customers to the staff, the vibe is pure joy.
We ordered a large cheese pizza and a grilled chicken salad, and both were phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The service was prompt, attentive, and warm, making the whole experience feel like a celebration.
If you want the best pizza experience in Richmond, look no further than Pino’s Pizza. This place deserves every one of its five stars and then some. I cannot recommend it enough—just go and prepare to be blown away!

Pino’s is joke when it comes to italian food. Canned mushrooms, table pepper no fresh cracked pepper. Heated up sub roll for dinner rolls, bagged salad, olive oil blend. The server was really nice but other than that so pissed i have to pay for ordinary. What Italian restaurant have you ever been to that plays radio country music. Smh

Stopped in after a soccer game. There was only one other table eating in the whole restaurant. My daughter had a frappe with her when we sat down. After we all ordered water to start, I guess the server was upset and told management about her drink. They came over and told us we couldn’t have an outside beverage, so we all left and took our business somewhere much more appealing and welcoming. Guess the loss of a soda purchase was worth it to them to lose a whole table of business.

Pinos pizza was so delicious! I ordered takeout and it is so reasonably priced. Everything was fresh, the quality is superb, when in town again, this will be my spot!

Super friendly staff. Pizza is all homemade with generous toppings. Also can’t be the price! Try their cannolis!

This Pino’s was super close to where we were staying during a trip to Richmond.

We got the Pino’s Deluxe pizza to go one night and then needed somewhere open a little late one night so we dined in (they were open until 10pm on a weeknight).

We got the Tuesday night special (two of the regular pasta choices for like $19). I got the beef tortellini and my boyfriend got the manicotti. Both were delicious and tasted fresh and had really good sauce. Bonus points for local charm, friendly customer service, salads and even bread.

I have been coming here since I was a little girl and now, I bring my own family here. We are frequent flyers to this family-owned treasure a few times a month. The weekly/everyday specials are where it’s at! The service is great, and everyone is always so welcoming. My kids get excited to come to “pizza Pinos”. It’s hard to recommend just one dish on the menu because everything is so good! Even the salads and desserts are delicious. Give em a try!
