We really enjoyed the atmosphere and gorgeous views here, but the service was mediocre, food – in very small portions and of below average taste, and the cocktails were the worst. They were expensive, tiny (in small champagne glasses), and lacked strength and flavor. 5 stars for the vibe, 3-3.5 stars for everything else.

My incredible mom just had her 80th birthday. When I wondered about where to celebrate, it only took 30 seconds to remember how great the service and food is at Vista at the Top. With their event coordinator, Devon’s, expert help, I booked 4 tables and selected an array of delicious appetizers. My extended family who flew into town were unfamiliar with Vista, and every one of them were impressed with the delicious food, the beautiful display, the kindness, the professionalism, and the gorgeous atmosphere of Vista. I was absolutely thrilled with how pleased and surprised my Mom was—and with how easy and pleasant it was to work with Devon to make it all real. Many, many thanks to Devon, Joel, and all the Vista servers and bartenders—your efforts made a really big difference for all of us that night. 10/10 Would do it again!!

❤️ A must-visit spot! Beautiful views, great wine, and a magical atmosphere. We could have stayed for hours — hopefully, they extend their hours past 10 p.m. We’ll definitely be back! We only opted for wine and didn’t try their food options, but they do offer a nice variety.

Vista at the Top is located on the 7th floor of the Residence Inn by Marriott. Amazing food and service! The views from the 7th floor are absolutely stunning! Excellent way to enjoy the sunset! This restaurant also has live music on the weekends. The vibe is phenomenal! 10/10

Came here for Valentine’s dinner. We arrived a bit late due to traffic. Upon arrival my partner was told that we were being upgraded to the Bayview table even though I’d already purchased the top package that was being offered for the evening. The charcuterie was decent, the l salad was light and freshing, however the main entree was not as I’d hoped. The meat tasted like Walmart Salisbury steak straight out of the box, the gnocchi seemed a bit off as well. Neither entree were enjoyable by myself or my partner. The asparagus was amazing. We skipped to dessert. The 3 layer cake was frozen solid but we powered through it and left. We were able to find another spot to go to fairly quickly.

A rooftop bar on the 7th floor of the Tierra Verde Residence Inn, Vista at the Top has breathtaking views of the Marina and the Tierra Verde area on two sides. They also have a dazzling and ornate Sunday Brunch loaded with delectable and appetizing options from which to choose. A veritable feast for the eyes and tummy.

On Sunday, they had music in the form of a steel drum player emoting an island vibe and sounds. A beautiful, sunny and cool day perfect for an outdoor experience. The striking and elegant fare was meticulously and ornately laid out for your perusal and selection. Cost is $65 per person and cocktails are available at the bar.

A titallating and evocative start to your day surrounded by resplendent beauty and an enticing and nurturing meal. A great bucket list treat for a special occasion. Weather can be an issue if it’s raining so check your forecast prior to your visit.

Good drinks with a great view. High above and wonderful view. Relax and sit back while enjoying a few good drinks. Only area for improvement is on the service side. I can see why it is recommended for a sunset.

I attended the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce Christmas Party this year at Vista at the Top. As an ambassador for the chamber, this is definitely a place I recommend when you are on the South Gulf Beaches in Pinellas County. The view on the rooftop bar is amazing. We were able to see a beautiful sunset overlooking the water. The staff was present and helpful with the amount of people that showed up. If you are looking for a new rooftop bar
