It’s a cute place with a cool atmosphere, desserts are amazing! Prices are a little high, but our food was good. I will say I ordered the BLT and it came with microwaved bacon which was disappointing. But overall a cute place to eat.

Birthday brunch, reservations for 8

I’ve been here several times but it was a first time experience for my guests and they loved it.

Everyone loved their food and desserts. The mud pie and butter pecan cake really stood out. I also had lemon lush but gobbled it up before I thought to take a picture.

The tomato gouda soup was a big hit. The broccoli cheddar soup was slightly off for me. Might be the choice of cheese and lack of seasoning.

The cranberry salad was my favorite dish. Tasted very similar to how my mother used to make hers.

The sweet tea is perfect. Also enjoyed the complimentary Christmas punch.

Wait staff were great and their prices are affordable.

The restaurant was decorated so nicely for Christmas. Even the Grinch would get festive.

They do really good business, was busy all morning and even had musicians performing on the porch.

Very delicious food. Must try the Lobster Bisque soup. Very reasonably priced desserts. The staff were attentive and served the food quickly. This is a place worth driving to Sanford.

THIS is the spot I was hoping and expecting during our trip out to NC. The southern charm, delicious (I’m serious, SUPER delicious) food and Victorian home with a wrap around porch. We found Mrs Lacy’s by accident and it was the best part of our trip.

You absolutely need to get the turkey and brie sandwich with pasta salad. For dessert, you must get the strawberry shortcake. I will be dreaming about that cake for the rest of my days. I even bought a shirt from here that says, “Shortbread & Jesus”.

I enjoyed having lunch there. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. I loved the decor there and very clean. My friend and I both ordered the Rubin Sandwich which comes with a side. I had the pasta salad and she had the broccoli salad. For dessert I ordered the Apple Crisp with ice-cream and she had the Mud Pie.

We tried the new mimi menu today! I had the mimi DR McCloud’ stuffed potato. Same delicious sauce, cheese, butter and bacon just smaller. Plenty to eat for only $10 including you drink. My Mom tried the mimi garden salad with ranch dressing and a mimi croissant which was also $10. We both love the food, the price and the wonderful service! They also have other choices on the $10 mimi menu that we will be back to try. They also have a large list of desserts which are awesome.

My favorite go to place to take friends and family that visit us in Sanford! Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious! I requested to go on my birthday this year! The strawberry shortcake was amazing!

I also purchased a whole mud pie to take home to share with my family!

Excellent food (I love the croissant chicken salad sandwich!) and this is the cutest setting. The waitresses are all the sweetest, always doing what they can to make sure you’re happy. I highly recommend the apple crisp for dessert! Yummmmm! The desserts can be eaten in-house or they are ready made to take home in the cutest little jars!

My husband and I day tripped to Sanford, NC to visit antique shops. In my research of the area I was encouraged to not miss lunch at Mrs. Lacy’s and it did not disappoint! Super friendly service, delicious corn chowder, broccoli salad and sandwiches. Of course we had to save room for dessert and I cannot recommend the warm Butter Pecan cake with vanilla ice cream enough! (We also brought home Milkshake cake and thin mint…dear Lord, it was all delicious!) Thanks for the making our “day date” special!

A great place to have a special lunch, but any lunch here would feel special! Recognized by Our State magazine in 2007 as a “Might – Tea” fine tea room, it’s sure to impress you too. Great sandwiches, sides, and soups. Don’t forget to save room for dessert, because they definitely save their very best for last! It’s very popular and for large groups calling ahead is definitely recommend.
