I usually don’t write reviews for a place unless it’s really bad or really good but this place is amazing. I went here once and ever since I’ve been coming back multiple times a month. The tacos are the best ones I’ve ever had. Lots of flavor and not skimpy on the meat either. My food is always prepared very quickly. Hot and made to order. The staff is really nice as well. The other day my uber eats order was stolen and they apologized and went above and beyond for me on my next order. The owner himself is also very friendly whenever he’s there. The atmosphere and seating inside also makes for a good date or a place to take your family. I’ve recommended this place to several friends and people I’m close with beca it’s really just that good. Go here you won’t regret it!

Went with our toddler last night and had a great experience. We love that it is a quick service restaurant, as it works great for bringing our toddler out with us. We all loved the food and the staff is always so kind and welcoming. We’ve been here before and the tacos are always delicious!

By far the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten in Mi. Amado was so friendly and came frequently to our table to ask how the food was. My daughter is picky and he made taquitos to her liking. This is the best place for authentic Mexican food and we will continue to go back!

I have been eyeing this place for a long time and finally I got to go with friends for my bday. I was having such a good time I really failed at taking photos. But let me tell you, the shrimp taco is to die for, the guac is amazing, the mango marg was perfect, and everyone of the 9 ppl in our party had only good things to say!! Enjoy!

First time here with sky-high expectations. The good: tacos were very good as promised as were the margaritas. The bad: salsas were meh at best as were the rice and beans. All service-ware was either really flimsy plastic (forks only) or small cardboard boats. Really inadequate. The cups for our drinks were rimmed in a delicious salt mixture, but unfortunately the cups were plastic. We were greeted upon entry by a cashier who told us to order there and then they’d bring our food to us. Then they directed us to find a table and we could come back to order. We thought this was going to be a full-service restaurant – a bit of a disappointment. Also, the atmosphere is not the best – it’s a renovated house (at least that’s how it feels) with most people eating with their coats on, reflecting the perception of a cold environment. The ugly: our bill, which we paid on the way out and didn’t take the time to scrutinize, added four things we didn’t order and omitted one thing we did. I think we were the only party of three, so I’m pretty sure this was the right bill, but the cashier asked us what our server number was. Can’t say I paid much attention to that. And since I screwed up the tip calculation, the amount we overpaid isn’t worth going back to argue over. But even paying any tip at all seemed like a stretch, as there really wasn’t much table service beyond dropping our food off to us. Overall a very mediocre experience, and with the abundance of very good taquerias in the Metro Detroit area, we won’t be back.

I hate letting people know about this hidden gem, but it’s just too good not to share. The staff is amazing, friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. The food is absolutely spectacular, and you can truly tell the owner/chef has a deep passion for what he does. That passion shows in every dish he serves. An outstanding experience from start to finish.

This is one of the best restaurants around and the best Mexican food I’ve had in years! The tacos and hot dogs are delicious. Everything is super fresh and they have a few vegan and vegetarian options that are very tasty. The staff are friendly and patient with new customers. I can’t wait to go back!
