We were on this side of town for an appointment and stumbled upon Delicious Garden. We just caught the beginning of the lunch rush. So it wasn’t busy at all, and we got seated quickly and our order was taken soon after. Our server was super nice. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp with fried rice and spring roll along with egg drop soup.I also got some hot tea especially on a cold day. My husband ordered sesame chicken with fried rice spring roll and wonton soup. Both were amazing and the best part was it was a lunch size instead of a dinner. We definitely enjoyed our meals and we were out before it started getting busy. This will be a spot to definitely go back to when we’re on this side of town.

I ordered shrimp fried rice and it didn’t come with green onions or sprouts. Which most fried rice comes with. Secondly, it was $15 and it wasn’t worth that price. The potion was small compared to other Chinese restaurants. First time going and my last time. Oh I forgot the rice came with 2 baby fingers size spring rolls. No folk in bag to eat with. I’m being nice giving them 2 stars when they really deserve 1

We heard about this place & decided to try it out. The flavors were familiar & tasty, but we are sensitive to the local water & the water isn’t being filtered before they use it. We tried wonton soup, shrimp toast, sweet & sour chicken & combination lo mein. Lo mein was delicious & had a familiar flavor.

Gotten delivery x2. It’s been amazing each time! The egg drop soup has plenty of egg so it’s very smooth. The egg rolls are crispy, full of flavor and don’t just taste like old cabbage. We’ve also tried the sesame, general tsos, and orange chicken, potstickers, teriyaki beef sticks and cheese Rangoon’s. Everything arrived hot. The portions are incredible. Prices are very fair. The fried rice is my personal highlight— has a very generous portion of egg, and isn’t just 1/2 full of frozen peas and carrots. I love Delicious Garden!!

This restaurant is a great spot for a quick lunch. While the ambiance is nothing to write home about, the friendliness of the waitress stood out. She was efficient and focused, though it was clear she was feeling a bit worn out, not unfriendly. The food was delicious, and I truly enjoyed my meal. I noticed a sign outside claiming ‘Healthy Chinese Food,’ which piqued my curiosity, as I didn’t see any specific menu items that supported this claim. Overall, I would return for a casual lunch or takeout, but not for a fancy dinner.”

The portion sizes are not what you would expect for Chinese food and the price is way to high for what you get, there is barely any chicken, it’s mostly onions, I’m definitely not coming back here again.

I’ve ordered from here a few times and the dishes are consistent and good portion sizes for the money. Staff is friendly when I call for questions and my items are always packed nicely. The presentation is nice, but more importantly, it’s very tasty. I’d argue it’s the best Chinese restaurant in San Antonio.

This location was recommended to me by a customer. They said it was the best Chinese food they have had since they moved to Texas from the East Coast.
I decided to give it a try, we ordered a few items including the Crispy Beef twice now. The Crispy Beef is very good, has excellent flavor. Prices are a bit on the high side, but portions are large. I usually have leftovers regardless of whether I dine in or take food to go.
I’ll continue to try items on the menu here, as so far the ones I have tried have been pretty good. If your a fan of Chinese and Asian food, you should give this place a try.

Very disappointed in this place. They put their menu on my front door so we decided to order here. We got delivery and it took 1 hour and the place is 6 min from me. The lady was already unprofessional on the phone. When the delivery man got here, I was paying for my food and asked for a receipt. He then asked for a tip. I told him I just want my receipt and I will not be tipping. He then started saying how this is his job and he gets paid by the tips and how he uses this for gas to get here and how it is a convenience that he drove here to bring me my food. Absolutely ridiculous after paying a large amount just to deliver. Crazy and disgusting food my plate was missing the soups and rice was old and nasty
