My son and I come here often. We love getting the sushi & sashimi boat. The service is always great as well as the pricing and quality of food. My favorite sushi spot around!

I can’t believe I’ve lived nearby for years and never realized this place offered takeout
I always thought it was dine-in only. Today, while stopping by the supermarket next door, I decided to walk in and give it a try, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time.
From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff greeted me with such genuine warmth and politeness that I instantly felt welcomed. Their kindness and professionalism truly set the tone for the entire experience. The restaurant itself is absolutely spotless ,not just clean, but the kind of pristine environment that makes you feel completely comfortable ordering and eating there.
I rarely order takeout because I’m always worried about food freshness, but this place completely exceeded my expectations. Every dish was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor. You can genuinely taste the quality and care in every bite.
I’ve officially made up my mind: on any day I don’t feel like cooking, this will be my first and only choice for takeout. It’s that good. I even told them I’ll be coming back very soon to dine in because a place with food, service, and cleanliness at this level deserves to be experienced again and again.
So grateful to have finally discovered this hidden gem in the neighborhood — it’s truly outstanding in every way.

Great food. Shawn was our server. Very polite and explained the menu. Atmosphere played relaxing instrumentals. Just felt a little cold draft from the door opening. Sorry I’m not a picture taker. If you don’t go your missing out. I’m going back soon. See you there.

Decided since this place was next to my physical therapist I would stop in after smelling the aroma outside. The reception was busy at the moment which probably would explain the lack of welcome I felt when I first came in (only noted because I’m still not sure) .
The waiter was a young fellow and he was very attentive but not invasive. The food was prepared well, looked and tasted exquisite ! I would say this is a hidden gem. From the atmosphere inside that was peaceful almost serene with calming music and world news in the background on the TV. The pace of which my food was prepared and delivered to my table. This may be my new self care spot.
If you’re in the area , or if you’re passing through, this is definitely a stop you will want to make. I had crab and tuna sushi, crab Rangoon, shrimp teriyaki and rice, and they provided these delicious wafers with a sweet sauce. I of course could not eat it all the servings were plentiful. I’ll attach a video or photos below of my dine in experience. (Carried out most of it I was full)
Again, if passing through or seeking a new spot or just to get a decent pick up order in today’s restaurant world , check them out! You’ll love it! I did!

I visited this place about 5 times since my initial visit and everything was the same except I came back to update my stars to a 5 for service as I could tell that it was a one time occurrence. Food is still amazing service great and the atmosphere is so peaceful I rescheduled my spa visit because I was t ready to leave , lol imagine being that at peace.
Again, do yourselves a huge favor and stop by for some fantastic food service and peace. It’s definitely healing!

Asian House – A Hidden Gem in New Castle!
If you’re craving sushi that’s as beautiful as it is delicious, Asian House is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the presentation is next-level.
Their sushi chef is truly one of the best in Delaware—every roll is crafted with precision and creativity. The tempura-topped rolls, vibrant garnishes, and playful touches (like the panda figurine!) make each plate feel like a work of art.
I tried a few different rolls, and every bite was packed with flavor and freshness. The leaf-shaped dish and bamboo mat presentation added a unique charm that sets this place apart.
Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair. Asian House is officially my go-to spot for sushi in New Castle. Highly recommend!

I would probably recommend ordering from this place if you’re near by, especially if you’re not doing customizations to said order. The flavor of the food was nice, the service was quick. It seemed like a nice little family restaurant. However, my date and I did get the wrong food. My date ordered shellfish sushi and I had ordered only fish sushi (one of them being smoked). I had let our server know after placing the first half of our order that I had a shellfish allergy. He seemed confused and re-asked what I ordered so I made sure to repeat everything clearly. Another adjustment made was my date didn’t want avocado with her dish. I just assumed since it was such a small restaurant maybe they haven’t dealt with people with food allergies. When our first order was placed, his mom came to take the rest of our order. I will say I believe the service was quick due to the fact they might of wanted us to leave. I’m making this assumption because we came later and even though we ordered food before the kitchen closed, left before the restaurant closed, and people were still seated, when I asked for five minutes the original server seemed to be in a rush and was hesitant on giving us the wait time. The first plate comes out and the shellfish is touching the regular fish, the fish itself was not smoked, and there was avocado on my dates dish. The server seemed irritated when I had brought up the shellfish mistake and said I should of let his mom know about the food allergy even though he was the only one to take any seafood orders. His mom had taken pork and chicken orders only. I had said this directly to him and he looked lost. Then he took the contaminated plate, said he would bring a new one, brought back the original plate, took the shell dish ones off for my date, then came back with my new unsmoked fish…… I didn’t mention the other mistakes because my date felt bad after he tried to pin the situation on us and it just felt like an unnecessary hassle….he did apologize for the contamination however after the comment he made. Then we try to get the food to go so we could leave at a respectful time and he quickly brings out the containers. I asked for two not realizing they would be smaller and I thought it wouldn’t be an issue to ask for one more. Little did I know this would lead to a passive aggressive argument. As soon as we asked he rudely picked up this lil sauce container and said “Do you not see the extra containers?!” and then proceeded to tell us how we should bag our stuff after we had already separated it the way it needed to making sure certain foods or sauces weren’t touching. Even after explaining that, he didn’t leave it alone and continued. He even harassed my date to get a bag for our food after we said no three times and said after “this would be the smart and logical thing to do” expressing how he didn’t understand why we kept saying no. He literally didn’t leave our table until my date was pressured once again and said yes. I said no to the bag originally just because of the simple principle that I didn’t feel comfortable with his previous behavior…. especially hearing the sighs and the huffs of breath throughout service. I did not want him to assist us anymore. I don’t know if it was an off day or something but it definitely made man impact on our night…..I guess enough impact for me to write this long review . I just feel as though this whole situation unprofessional and unnecessary, especially being someone who works in the service industry myself. It’s a shame too that I see other people with similar experiences, especially when the food itself was decent.

Nice place with a cozy atmosphere. Plenty of vegetarian options if you are okay with egg. The food is great from appetizers to entrees. We asked for spicy food and they didn’t disappoint. Definitely going to be our favorite revist places. The staff were friendly, patient and the service was great.

5 Stars – Outstanding Sushi and Service!
Asian House in New Castle absolutely blew us away! I ordered the sashimi regular and a tuna roll, and both were outstanding. The fish was incredibly fresh, expertly sliced, and beautifully presented—just look at the vibrant colors and precise cuts in the photo! Every bite was buttery and full of flavor.
My spouse went with the All-You-Can-Eat option, which includes a mix of Asian dishes and sushi rolls. We were both impressed by the variety and consistent quality—everything was fresh, delicious, and served promptly.
The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, making the whole experience even better. This is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves sushi or Asian cuisine. We’ll definitely be coming back!
