Went to try the doubles and was not disappointed. Amazing prices and filling snacks. The doubles u can do with chick peas and/or potatoes and with or without sauces. Do get the sauces it definitely makes it more tasty.
People serving were helpful and if u have questions they will answer.

I finally made it to Sherry’s Trini Flavors in Altamonte Springs and I’m already planning my next visit! This place is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Trinidad cuisine.
I ordered the dhalpuri with chicken, pumpkin, bhagi, chana, and aloo, and let me tell you – everything was absolutely delicious! The dhalpuri was perfectly made with that signature split pea filling, soft yet with just the right texture. The curry chicken was incredibly flavorful and tender, seasoned to perfection with that authentic Trini spice blend that makes your taste buds dance.
The sides were equally impressive – the pumpkin was sweet and savory, the bhagi (spinach) was cooked beautifully with garlic, the chana had that perfect creamy consistency, and the aloo (potatoes) rounded everything out wonderfully. Every component of the meal had its own distinct, authentic flavor.
But here’s the best part: the portions are HUGE! You definitely get your money’s worth here. I had plenty of food and felt completely satisfied. Enough to take home for two more meals.

Wow. Outstanding. Tried Sherry’s for the first time today. We ordered 3 Doubles (with all the condiments); a boneless chicken roti; a potato roti; and a goat dinner with fried rice, potatoes and dahl. The portions are very generous and, I can assure you, every single bite was delicious. Spicy, complex, comforting and packed full of flavor. I have enjoyed many excellent curried goat dishes in my time but Sherry’s, hand on heart, is the best goat dinner I’ve had. The perfect moistness, the incredible depth of flavor with each bite, providing zing, tanginess, sourness, a very mild sweetness, and plenty of umami. Absolutely over the moon with the food and to have such a place so nearby. And the people working there are very friendly and extremely helpful (more than willing to explain or guide you through the various options — as they did with us as newbies). Highly recommend.

I got Chicken Roti and Beef Roti, they are absolutely in HUGE portions and filled with so much meat! The taste is good and the flavor is bursting in my mouth! So satisfying! Tried the Aloo Pie too and i liked it so much! Good service, the staff is also friendly and generous. Located in a corner of a convinience store in a Citgo gas station along 436. They have a few chairs and long table on the side available for dine in. Looking forward on my next visit!

Best doubles around town hands down! 10/10!! Sherry, her daughter and son provide world class service with menu offerings that remind me of some of my favorite roti shops in New York. They even offer catering! The drive from Clermont is worth all the troubles for Sherry’s delicious doubles. You better be in a hurry to get on over to Sherry’s!

Oh.my.goodness!! I had the shrimp doubles and a chana potato roti. I wish I would have gotten a second doubles it was sooooo flavorful and tasty. The young lady behind the counter took into consideration my spice tolerance and added a sweet tamarind sauce to balance *Sigh* I hate that I don’t live closer! My roti was so packed with goodness cooked to perfection! Oh, and I had the sorrel as well… EVERYTHING was delicious! Whenever Im back in the area, I will definitely be stopping by.

Don’t be fooled by the gas station location—this Caribbean food will not disappoint! Everything is delicious, with bold flavors that create a party in your mouth. The vegetarian doubles are incredible, and the goat and curry chicken dinners are amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are great too.
