Don’t order garlic knots / garlic powder sprinkled on top and calling it garlic knots smh but pizza is good just a bit thin. Seating area is clean and cute. Lots of beverage options. Personally will be staying at Arturo’s pizza a few blocks away for better pizza. Staff is friendly and welcoming

Was looking for a quick bite to eat in the Bronx and this was the most packed spot on the block. I went there in the middle of the day. Let me just say, this spot is TINY but when I tell you there were 5 people in there ordering at once. That’s when I knew the pizza was gonna be good. Service was great even though it was busy. Sam’s pizza used to be sooo good. The best around but they have become as bad as the others in the area. At Sam’s they barely add sauce, the sauce has no flavor, and the cheese is extra greasy now. I called for a pie with regular cheese on one side and no cheese on the other. I only asked for the sauce and mushrooms on the other half and only a little cheese on top of the mushrooms so they won’t fall off. The entire pizza had cheese and they made a large pie which I didn’t ask for. I paid $29 for a large pie with soggy, stale, overdone pizza crust and no flavor whatsoever and it barely had sauce. I live far and my daughter picked it up for me so of course we could not take it back. Had I been there I would not have paid for it and left it there. That’s being sneaky and thieving. This is the third time that something goes wrong and the pizza is horrible. This is the last time we all go there. We work close by in a school and honestly the pizza is not what it used to be so we don’t order anymore. I gave it one last try but still it was a confirmed disappointment.
