Love Seguin schoolyard any day of the week. My daughter plays on the playground here. We also went to the Paul Wall concert this year and it was a blast. No incidents occurred during the concert.

This place is really amazing! From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is really amazing! It used to be an old elementary school that has a lot of history! The food here is good but very expensive. It’s a family-oriented place. They also have live music as well.I definitely love it!

Awesome hidden gem. Stopped in on a ride home, but cannot wait to go back for a show. Photo of upcoming shows for 2025 attached. Many stores and food options. We had sMack’noodles and it was so good and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend.

30$ for the food in pictures. The wings were small, with an order of 6 no fries. Queso was worth it. And the chili dog was soggy. I think it should have been around 20$ for what we got, since being remodeled it is super nice, lots of seating and live music. Added TVS, bartenders could have a faster pace on the inside bar, they were communicating with each other a lot and distracted.

If you’re not into bar culture, drinking, smoking w33d or thrift stores with arts and crafts this may not be for you. We got blasted in the face with weed smoke as soon as we walked onto the yard.
If you have a lot of kids but you still want to drink in public this place seems perfect. A playground for the kids right next to a bar. What could go wrong?
We went to the Lazy Cajun and it was outrageously overpriced. $6 for the tiniest cup of the worst banana pudding ive had. (It was old and stale and deflated in the cup) $15 for about 4 alligator bites. They were out of everything. No fries, no etouffe and no gumbo. The kids running the restaurant were polite, courteous and they cooked the alligator bites really well and the seasonings on the few gator bites we had were actually really nice. That’s the only reason im giving a 2 and not a 1. Small portions, not good banana pudding and way overpriced on top of everything. Not my thing but I wish them well. I hope the concept works out bc im sure its nice when all the shops are open and people are hanging out. Just not my thing.

Love this spot! The sports bar is my goto here in seguin. Great vibes, great setup, great people. Oh, I almost forgot to mention; the bartenders are super talented, beautiful and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

This place is AWESOME. Live bands, decent drinks, a playground for the kids, lots of seating, and good restrooms! Highly recommend for a great date night with the kids. Bartender outside in the kiosk was amazing, but the bartenders inside… They could get off their phones and give me a DOUBLE shot when I paid for a double shot tho. Lol otherwise this place rocks. Will be retuning for sure.

Awesome place for a group! We had a big party and the service was incredible. I booked our reservation with Miguel and while he was not there, he made sure the red carpet was rolled out for us. The staff were super attentive. Triple J was the band that night and they killed it! The wings were seriously delicious. Hoping this place keeps growing — we’ve found our new spot for company events!

The schoolyard proved to be extremely accommodating. Although we had initially planned to hold my baby shower in the outdoor section, an unexpected rainstorm occurred. My mother-in-law spoke with the manager in the bar area, and they kindly offered us the space indoors, eliminating the need to reschedule. I was very thankful for Ashley Gomez and the rest of the staff that day; they were very kind and very helpful. ♥️

I want to give a big shout out to Ashley Gomez for this Sunday at the School Yard. My daughter in law was going to have a baby shower outside and out of nowhere it started raining . I spoke with Ashley about if can move it inside and she spoken to her management Miguel and they given us the v bar part. I was super excited and my daughter in law was too. Environment was pleasing , Family oriented. Will recommend you go see Ashley at the School yard . Our family appreciate it and will be attending again soon . Rain cleared and our children was able to go play outside. Thanks again Ashley for making it happen .
