My wife and I have a new favorite steakhouse, and its the North Shore Chophouse. Get a reservation if you can, otherwise they do have some high top tables by the bar too. But the food is phenomenal, great service, and the price is great for what you get. So far we are loving the fall menu, the Autumn Bruschetta is absolutely phenomenal and we highly recomend it. Their french onion soup has to be one of the best we have had in awhile to. To speak of it all of the food is some of the best we’ve had. We’ve been here twice no this fall. My wife loves the fillet with the risotto on the side. Ive had the new york and the short rib and the steak was definitely the best steak I’ve had at a steakhouse. The short ribs where to die for too. For drinks we highly recomend the Blackberry Old Fashioned & the Mezcalita. I love a good mezcal drink and they are so hard to find!

The food was great, as were the mocktails. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service was nothing less than perfect. Attentive with perfect timing of courses! Great attitudes at the fine establishment! Not often that the executive chef visits ones table. Highly recommend!

Justin is / was a gem! Came in with my Mom, Stepdad, Brother’s family (two kids 8 / 5 ) and ole family friends.
From the jump, Justin was an awesome mix of professional and personable! Dialed in quickly on the kids, took them in like a champ and not a serve that was gonna be annoyed by kids, but knew EXACTLY how to engage / lean into them. Outstanding.
Had patients and care throughout the entire dinner service with our 9-top; joyful/positive responses and vibes throughout by him to all the random requests “can you, please(s)…” from us.

We are regulars here and every meal is amazing. Even for the non steak people there are always great seafood and poultry options. The staff is the best. Their special themed events are also amazing so definitely give them a follow for updates.

We were in the area and googled restaurants to visit for our wedding anniversary. This place had the best looking menu, and I’m glad it did!! The food was fantastic–the bruschetta appetizer was amazing and our steak entrees (steak medallions and seared steak with gnocchi) were melt-in-your-mouth good. The steak was recommended at medium rare, which is a little more rare than I usual like, but I’m glad I took the suggestion. Our server, Jenny/Jeni (I don’t remember the correct spelling!) was wonderful and personable. She gave excellent recommendations & accommodated us moving inside after some wasps kept bugging us. She even replaced our appetizer after the wasp was all over it. We also got a slice of cheesecake to go, which was delicious for breakfast the next morning. Super happy with our decision to go here, we’d love to come back!!

One if the servers felt the basket with the bread ( wrapped in cloth ) with his hand to see if it was empty, very odd as they should have asked.
We were asked if we wanted dessert before we were half done eating and a second time before we were done eating, usually fine restaurants wait until you finish eating the main course

First time at North Shore with the new owners. We eat out a lot all over the country and we were very impressed. We love raw oysters and decided to start with a dozen. I want expecting much but they were very good and shucked perfectly. The mignonette was good with a similar flavor profile as they serve at Tempest (iykyk). We were surprised that we had to pay extra for cocktail sauce and horseradish (we didn’t know there was a charge until we got the bill) but they were both worth it. Next we had the appetizer feature which was a whipped feta served with fruit, hot honey and crostini. We would go back just for this dish. It literally blew us both away. Don’t skip this if it is available. Next was lobster bisque. Really flavorful with a nice chunk of lobster on top. For entrees we chose the halibut feature with a pea risotto and the strip with fried shrimp and risotto. The fish was wonderfully prepared. Steak was cooked to order but tough however the seasoning was spot on. We also got mushrooms and onions but I would skip those. They were not hot and overly salted. The risotto with the steak was perfect. I could have licked the bowl it came in. We sat at the high top tables and loved being able to look at the water. We have been to almost every supper club/ steak house in the state and this place ranks with the best. Make a reservation!!!!! We will be back

Great drinks, especially the Provincial Martini. Loved the soup with the parmesan cracker on top. Great fish fry with fritters.
The appetizers aren’t my favorite but everything else is so good it doesn’t matter. Will be going back again definitely.
