Having been a restauranteur for more than 30 years, I decided to embark on a new culinary journey. This time, it features a southern favorite; mouth watering variations of fried chicken (Whole wings, chicken sandwichs, tenders)! Soul soothing sides such as fried green tomatoes, as well as a mac & cheese recipe stamped by Oprah herself show up as key players on the menu. Add a bit of freshly squeezed, homemade strawberry lemonade and you’ve got a meal that rivals a family reunion. And of course, you’re invited! Oh, let’s not forget the homemade burgers and turkey burgers 🙂

Tens across the board!! Today I went to lunch at Colony Square and decided to try something new. Let’s start with the food. I ordered the Chicken and waffles and it was a ten! The waffle was just perfect It had powdered sugar on it and strawberries. The chicken thigh was fried to perfection. I was also given two syrups and two packs of hot sauce and I devoured the whole thing. Now the atmosphere colony square is a nice place with several eateries no complaints and it’s very clean. Last but not least the service… Ashlynn took my order and she was a 10 very attentive very kind and very sweet. This establishment is blessed to have her on the team. She made sure I had everything and talk about service with a smile that wasn’t rushed but was also time efficient. Loved it I will be back!

I arrived in ATL on business and needed something hearty but didn’t want “production” food or a franchise. Fortunately Deliliah’s was an easy walk. The cashier was great and very friendly and while I was set on the chicken Po Boy, she said that the shrimp was her favorite. So I tried it and I’m glad I did! The portion was generous and it was hot and fresh. I opted for the sweet potato fries and they were lightly salted to perfection. I highly recommend!!

I was late picking up my order (took me almost 2 hours). They disposed of the old order and made me a new one at no extra charge. And it only took 10 minutes. Excellent customer service and the food was nice and fresh.

Place is nice. Young lady at counter was polite. They were out of several things, one was beef, she was advised they were making it in the kitchen & could take awhile. We were cool. Not in a rush. All I asked was how long time frame wise so we could place a order. She asked the cook. He looked at me and said ” there’s no time frame, it’s unavailable .” Unsure if he was having a bad day but bad enough to realize we lost our interest & had the Jamaican food instead. I can understand if things can take awhile (worked in food service before) but I don’t need attitude for asking a simple question. No thank you.

I had a great experience at Delilah’s Everyday Soul. De’avis greeted me with great customer service. He suggested I try the chicken tenders and I must say everything was delicious and cooked fresh. I definitely will recommend my family and friends to try this restaurant!

The smash burger was delicious but my experience was subpar based upon the time it took to receive my order and they didn’t give me sweet potato fries but regular. Food took so long felt it was waste of time to complain. Ketchup packets he put in our bag were also sticking together since one probably burst in the container. I was with a group and this was the first place we ordered from. We ordered other establishments and everyone else received their food with 10-15 minutes. Why did it take 30 minutes for a smash burger and fries ♂️. There was no line when we ordered.

I had never eaten here, but saw a TikTok review and decided to try it.
The woman at the counter was eating when I walked up to order. That was bad sign number one.
I ordered fried chicken, mac& cheese and yams. No collard greens or string beans were available (I was told).
I got my food and when I sat in the car to eat it (as I was on my way back to California) I was extremely disappointed.
The mac & cheese was dry and hard, like a block, the cornbread was not good either, the fried chicken was OK, nothing special but the yams were good (tasted like pie).
I would not have rewritten this review, BUT FOR me finding this receipt and remembering how someone from this company replied to my last review with aggressive untruths.
I would not recommend this restaurant.
