Maison de Lu was started in 2008 by Luann Ellis, a New Jersey native who wanted to offer the coast something different! She did just that with her creative dishes and flavors. It transformed from a little sandwich shop to a full on local staple! The current owner, Ryan Jurich, met Lu by chance and it was a life changing encounter. With Lu’s food and Ryan’s marketing background, accompanied by the friendly staff and a genuine love for giving, the restaurant flourished into what it is today! We are passionate about food, service, and experiences! Let us treat you to some gourmet food with true Southern hospitality!

I’m going to give this restaurant a 5 star because the service was outstanding and the food was really lovely. We had the crab cake appetizer which was amazingly full of crab! We also had beautiful stuffed lobsters for our main, amazing desserts and really smooth cocktails. My only critique is that we booked to sit on the front porch and instead got shoved into a corner of the back patio. With that being said, we enjoyed the food and the service! I highly recommend!

We were there on a busy Saturday.
While there were only two servers, they did quite well to keep up.
The food was beyond delicious. Fresh, delightful mix of flavors.
The only real issue was at two outside tables.
They are situated close to a drain in the patio.
A sewer smell emanated the area, making those two tables undesirable.
Otherwise the outdoor dining was very comfortable and pleasant.

My best friend and I came here for dinner and had an amazing experience from start to finish.
We shared a bottle of wine, crab claws, and the Coconut Caramel Pecan Tart — all of which were outstanding. I had the hanger steak, and my she had the filet, both cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also enjoyed espresso martinis with dessert, which were the perfect way to end the meal.
The service was on point all night — attentive, friendly, and never rushed. It made for such a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

Wow!! This place is amazing! We did not have reservations and came in at 4:15. We got a table close to the door that was available for a couple hours. Happy hour is until six and has two dollars off alcohol and appetizers.We had The pork chops and the hanger steak. Goat cheese torque for an appetizer. It was the most unforgettable experience. Staff was on point and attentive. Jenny, Arthur, Jason… We will be back! Thank you so much amazing dinner

We just happened to walk by as this place opened at 11:00 a.m. so we thought we’d try their French cuisine. This turned out to be the right choice their shrimp bisque absolutely terrific with lots of shrimp. We tried the Blackberry margarita which was very good as well as a number of their other dishes. My only suggestion for improvement would be I thought the coffee was a little weak for a french-based restaurant. But all the rest was very good the food the service and the atmosphere

Staff were very personable and made our evening a very positive experience. I had the grilled salmon and my date had the veal. Both were very good but we both could have passed on the asparagus. Very tiny stalks that were overpowered by the balsamic sauce. Apparently the white chocolate bread pudding was exceptional, I was only allowed one bite!! Last visit to Ocean Springs, we ate lunch on the outdoor patio. Can’t remember what we ate, but were impressed enough to come this trip for dinner.

Our dinner tonight on Halloween was wonderful. Steaks and fish perfectly cooked and favorable. Our server Arthur was attentive and friendly. Other staff also very good. A delightful evening. Goat cheese torte, cous cous and deserts so tasty!

Relaxed restaurant setting with delicious casual lunch dining. Started with the Goat Cheese Torte, ordered grilled chicken sandwiches with onion, and finished with the Frozen Lemon Icebox. Everything was flavorful and unique. Our server was timely and friendly. Highly recommended for a lunch in Ocean Springs.
