Service was polite…. seating was less than 30 minute wait. Waitress greeted us promptly and politely…. appetizer was good….. my wife ordered the 8oz steak and I got the a half rack of ribs. Wife said everything was delicious but the green beans had no flavor. I thought the food was delicious….but the ribs could have been a bit juicy. Good atmosphere

I’ve given this place so many chances,
hoping, praying, that maybe it was due to them being newly opened, or that day was an off day for the staff, there was new staff, or something to justify the experience.
However, every time I went the food is way too expensive for how horrible the quality. The first two times I visited, we had the rudest waitress. She seemed annoyed that my team and I were there when she sat us. Didn’t smile, barely came to the table without us having to seek her out after an hour. Seemed annoyed that we ordered two appetizers, and asked questions.
The other times service wasn’t bad, but the food continues to be.
Cheese for pretzel bites- never warm, too thick, has awful aftertaste.
Ribs- way overcooked, twice now.
Steak was supposed to be medium well, not only was it well done, but it was served to me cold…..not room temp. Cold.
I highly recommend going elsewhere. As I said I have tried to give them many chances, 5 to be exact, only to be disappointed each time. I pray they can figure something out to grow and be better, but until then I will not be back.

I live in Indy so we have many similar restaurants around us. We just had apps and drinks. Their version of the Old Fashion was really good. We got half order of cheese fries. It was like something a college kid would throw together in his dorm. They were only $6. Cheese curds were ok. Our friend had the prime rib which looked really good. Service was good. We sat at high top in bar area. It’s a bit crowded and not much space between other tables and booths.

We love Big Sky. The food is really amazing. Our most recent visit was on Saturday and we were disappointed that they had run out of prime rib. But, the disappointment quickly disappeared when we decided to try something new. My husband got a burger and I got the Jambalaya Pasta. Listen to my words of experience. I will 100% go back just for that pasta. Flavorful and delicious and a generous portion. The leftovers were just as good the next day. The atmosphere and wait staff are always delightful. We got dessert this time, which we rarely do at any restaurant. If you like cheesecake, get the creme brulee cheesecake. Decadent and delicious, perfectly creamy, and well worth it. Although we did not get an appetizer this visit, we also highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms. They are the best I’ve ever had.

The food was alright, the service was good, and the atmosphere was alright. I expected more for a steakhouse where you’re going to pay a decent price for steak. It was just ok. The steak was requested to be medium rare, and it was just so you have a reference from the pictures. It was tougher than expected and bland in flavor compared to many other steaks I’ve had. Their porkchop also had a sauce with it that was a little spicier than wanted, which was not said, so we were not prepared for it. Their Cesar salad was the best part of the dinner. It was fresh, crunchy, and flavorful. They had a unique display of western landscapes from all over the country. Overall, it was just ok.

Very nice place on the inside service was quick with a smile. Food came out quick and hot. The garlic butter for the bread is really good. I got a 12oz New York strip and it was cooked perfectly. Tried the crab mac n cheese it was also very good. Only thing that might be a con in everything is the prices. I had a side salad steak with fries and added the mac n cheese, no alcohol the bill just for me was $47 before the tip. It was good food but I definitely wont be going very often for $50 bucks by myself. Go give them a try and see what you think.

Absolutely delicious! But I completely agree with everyone on being on the expensive side. The steaks are extremely higher than everyone else. But the food was very good, staff was excellent, atmosphere for awesome. Also I would like to point out the time and effort they put into each plate before sending it out. They really care about their presentation standards and I can appreciate that!
Great date night meal, but would get very expensive quickly just to take the family for dinner.

My Ribeye Steak was juicy and full of flavor! The glass Porto tied it all together. Bg Sky is highly recommended!

Great experience. Our server, Samantha was excellent. We didn’t know what we wanted to drink, so she asked us a few questions and created a mixed drink! She also clued us in on the special beer price for the evening. Very attentive and personal without hovering.
Food was all good. Brisket was a bit fatterer than we liked. Had the Open Range Burger with sriracha mayo (spicey) on the side. Don’t have it cooked beyond medium or it will be dry. Pretzel bullets were light and fluffy.
Not a huge atmosphere. Main bar counter had only 6 seats with an additional 5-6 tables. Lots of seating on the opposite side though.
I’d call this place more of an upscale bar than fine dining. Either way, it was good food and service. You decide.
