Delicious food!! I highly recommend the fish and chips, it’s perfectly crisp and fresh with good tartar sauce and cut fries. The Irish do it well. Also the nachos are properly spread in a large tray with plentiful toppings and dips. I enjoy sitting at the booths and it’s quieter during lunch, but it gets loud and busy closer to the bar area especially during the evening. There’s nice outdoor seating next to the pitkins plaza too. Parking is difficult on the street you may need to find a garage or walk a few blocks. Service also may be slow but it’s worth the good food! Prices are great too.

I stopped in with a friend who told me about this place. The place is really nice. We sat down and ordered a couple Guinness. It’s always a good sign when the bartender pours the Guinness correctly, which they did. I ended up getting a Shepard’s pie. Both the Guinness and shepherds pie were amazing. Love this place and would highly recommend. I will definitely be back

To start from the very beginning, walking in to see a pub style bar with booth seating was a warm and welcoming delight. Instantly greet by Isla who is one of the workers with so much hospitality and open arms like I was a long lost friend! Seating at the booth was very comfortable with a window which made it feel more open. The chicken sandwich was beyond amazing. The crispness of the breading yet the softness of the chicken was 10/10. The sauce on the potato bread bun was sweet savory and everything else you can imagine. The lettuce and tomato’s were fresh and the bacon was delicious! Will definitely return for another adventure to New Haven!!!

Great deal for burgers and fries. The ambiance and live music were groovy. Would love to visit again, perhaps on game day.

We had a blast making our New Haven debut at Trinity Bar in 2024, and the crowd did not disappoint! The food? The burger was cooked to perfection, and the apps were on point. The staff brought the good vibes, and we felt right at home. We love that Trinity Bar keeps live music front and center while still showing the games for all our sports-loving friends—best of both worlds! Can’t wait to bring the party back in 2025!

The best Irish pub in town, hands down! From the Spice Bag to the delectable fish and chips, every dish is just right. If you’re fortunate enough to have Tracy as your bartender, you’re in for a treat. They also offer an impressive rotating special menu that keeps things exciting.

Absolute Must if you’re in downtown New Haven CT. Great Irish Pub. Excellent food, great service, perfect atmosphere to eat, drink and watch a game. The wings were wonderful, the Guinness beef stew was delicious and the Jameson was perfect!

The food? Next-level delicious. Alexis, our server, deserves her own fan club—funny, fast, and somehow psychic. She brought what we needed before we even knew we needed it. If you’re in Trinity, do yourself a favor and ask for Alexis. She’s basically the Beyoncé of waitstaff.

I actually loved this bar and thought they were great until the bill came. At some point the bar tender made more espresso martinis than a their customers asked for and offered them to us. She said “I have extra do you want it?” So we said yes. At the end of the night we noticed an extra $12 charge. When I questioned her about it she claimed “you asked for it earlier.” When I reminded her of the circumstances she said “well I gave you like 3 free beers, which also wasn’t true bc I kept track of our beers. At the end, I just ended up paying because she pressured us in it. Good atmosphere and the bar tenders work their butts off but they definitely will try to push their mistakes off on you assuming you are drunk.
