An absolute must-visit in Downtown LA for cocktail lovers. ✨
I have obsessively been coming to The Wolves whenever I’m in LA, and it never disappoints. The Agua Buena is hands-down the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my life.
Their other cocktails are just as impressive… my friends always order different ones, and every drink has such unique, inventive flavor profiles that just work. The small bites are delicious too.
Friendly staff and the setting… don’t even get me started! It’s stunning, atmospheric, and makes the whole experience feel extra special.

I was expecting good things but this was even better than expected. Staff were excellent, cocktails were on point, nods to the classics but with just the right amount of innovation. Everything was extremely well balanced.
And that’s without mentioning the fitout. So cosy.

3.5 stars . Cool looking bar with a selection of unique cocktails. Many of the drinks did not appeal to me though. only had one drink and it was good, so I didn’t get to call my own drink and see how good the mixologist was. Will return to give it a full review and try a few drinks.

Came right when they opened at 5 pm on a Sunday. I love the stained glass ceiling and the bar’s overall decor and vibe. I ordered the Tigers Milk and Harbinger of Fun, which the bartender told me are the most popular drinks on the menu. I liked the latter more due to its strawberry and pistachio notes. The bartender (I think his name is either Jason or Kevin) was incredibly friendly, chatted with me a bit, and made the drinks quickly. Excellent service.
Would love to come back and try the other cocktails, which may ultimately elevate my rating.

11/10 experience on every level! Food – incredible, no notes. Drinks – out of this world, you MUST try (true definition of curated mixology). Ambiance – no other bar like it in all LA, you have to see to believe. Staff – genuinely the best, most accommodating, friendly people I’ve ever met in service; give them all a raise!

An elevating interior design with an old world feeling – a place that stars and dignitaries use to visit – completely degraded by conflicting club music. It’s truly an architectural gem that should be treated as such.
And don’t get me wrong, I like good bar and club music, just feels so off playing at such a beauty.

Stopped in for some cocktails and enjoyed the experience. Vibe is moody and cool, yet casual. I modified one of the cocktails despite some resistance from the server, but it turned out great. Hard to go wrong with bread and butter but that was delicious as well.

This was quite the find, the food was excellent, tasty and generous, their chef is amazing, you will be able to see him cooking with care. The service was very good, kind folks make you feel welcome, always asking if you need anything, and will accommodate your preferences. Drinks are good. The atmosphere is definitely something to come back for.

super interesting menu. cool, classy and vintage, with beautiful ceilings and lighting. there’s a tiny upstairs area to smoke. I’d recommend this place, slightly pricey but you’re in LA (and I’d say it’s worth it.) i recommend the mary pickford, yum!

Ambiance, food, and drinks are great. Small bar area and service can be slow so expect to wait to order. You order everything at the bar. Would def recommend for dates, or small gatherings of no more than 5 people.
