I ordered from Kingston grill on 09/29/25. I had a completely underwhelming experience with Kingston grill. I ordered a ackee and saltfish Large with dumplings, steamed vegetables, and plantain. We are a Jamaican family and we wanted to support our people. So I was surprised to find no steamed vegetables, no plantain, and the ackee and saltfish in a small container. Mind you I waited for this food for 2 hours it was cold. They barely put any saltfish in the ackee and saltfish. We called the restaurant about the missing food and told us we have no way to compensate or rectify the situation. We will no be eating here ever again and id advise others to do the same.

A great spot for ultimate flavor!

I had the jerked chicken and BBQ jerked chicken. The amount of flavor that these birds offered was insane. Greatness in each bite! Meat was juicy and flavorful.

The beans and rice, topped with some gravy, was also strong.

The jerked chicken patty was delightful and had a light crisp.

Great service and the workers were excellent and helpful.

I’ll definitely be returning here again!

This has become my go-to spot some mornings before work. Not many Jamaican restaurants open this early (7am), so it’s a real convenience to grab a tasty meal without waiting long. Their Ackee and dumpling is always on point, and I appreciate that everything tastes fresh. The restaurant is also very clean. Prices are pretty standard for Jamaican food, so it’s a solid value. If you’re in the area and looking for a tasty breakfast or lunch that’s quick and satisfying, I highly recommend Kingston Grill!

This is a local Jamaican restaurant serving quite authentic cuisine from the island. I only tried goat curry and oxtail stew over flavored rice. They were simply amazing. Also I tasted their spicy beef patties and chicken patties as well. Washed everything down with a bottle of Jamaican ginger beer. Staff are very nice and friendly. I will try other dishes as well. You pick and choose what you want from the premade selections at the counter. Parking is located behind the store and along the street.

Went for dinner for the family and got three large dishes. We ordered jerk chicken, jerk pork, and fried chicken.

The food came fully packed in their containers and was more than enough for a family of four. We had mixed vegetables and oxtail gravy on the rice. The rice was cooked perfectly and had coconut flavors, the ocxtail gravy was thick and delicious.

My favorite dish was the jerk pork. It was cooked very tender and moist. The pork absorbed the jerk flavors very well. The jerk chicken however did not absorb the flavor as well but was still good even though it did not taste like it came of off a jerk pan grill.

The fried chicken according to my jamaican wife was French fried and tasted excellent. The meat was moist and succulent. The chicken skin got soggy because it was sealed with the rice. So if you get that tell them to put the chicken separate in a paper bag.

It felt like we had a home cooked meal after we were done. And for that, it’s well worth another visit.

Nice variety of food. Portions can be quite small. Prices can be a bit high. Lines aren’t usually too long. You can eat there if you choose to.
Servers are extremely serious

Stop by for a quick dinner before a show at the UBS arena (a few mins away from the restaurant). Food was delicious, the flavors and portions are perfect! The restaurant was clean and very well kept. Lots of variety despite being 6pm in the evening. The menu is large with lots of options. They sell ice cream, dessert and juices. The customer service there is great as well. Definitely will return when I’m in the area again! Note that there is parking in the back of the restaurant.

I bought an oxtail yesterday and it was unpalatable. I almost vomited. The meat was not washed. Really nasty! It’s in my thrash.

I have been craving beef patties for the longest time and have not been able to satisfy my craving until yesterday! I was driving by and noticed this restaurant, noted the location so on my way home I could try some food. I got the oxtail, beef patties and a side of mac n cheese and plantains. When my order was ready, I walked in and mannnn did it smell good in there! Music was playing, I was greeted with a lovely smile and it smelled good, what more could you ask for. Oxtail plate was fire, not only was it a great amount for the price, the rice and peas were flavorful and oxtail was fall off the bone. Mac n cheese was very cheesy and well seasoned. Plantain was okay, I usually prefer it a lil sweeter but thats just my preference. Can’t wait to bring more people to try this delicious food.

My husband ordered breakfast for me this morning from this god-awful place. First they forgot the plantains and salad that he had requested in the meal when he called this nasty lady who was there had the audacity to ask him “what is she supposed to do about it? What’s the big deal. “ you would think the fact that they did not have something we paid for and did not disclose that they did not have it that this customer service lady in the front will have a better and more humble attitude, but instead she was rude. She was nasty and she hung up the phone on my husband and myself when we called. Let’s start with the salty dumplings, which I couldn’t even swallow and just had the worst and weirdest taste that I’ve ever tried in my life. I had a small taste of the Calalou and salt Fish and I was done after that. I didn’t even bother to try any more of the food that he ordered so we literally ended up sending them back. When we got to the restaurant, the lady taking the orders had such a his poor, moral attitude nasty. It’s a shame when you go to a Caribbean establishment and behave like the stereotype thats often depicted in social media skits, but this was my first experience having such a horrible interaction with anybody in a restaurant. They need to get rid of that lady at the front before they end up losing all their business altogether and closing down. It’s bad enough the food was nasty, but the representative for that restaurant made the experience even worse. I will never go back there urge anyone don’t bother. If I could honestly give this place no stars, that’s what I would do because they don’t deserve any.
