Ordered two steak tacos on corn with cilantro and onion only and a large fries. Steak was tough however, the flavor was really good. French fries were cooked perfectly with a tasty seasoning. The carrots and peppers were bland no pickled or spice flavor. Staff were friendly and efficient. Restaurant was pretty clean.

The steak burritos are good. But man, do NOT order an Al Pastor burrito! It’s 100% not Al Pastor. It’s very strongly flavored shredded pork. My mouth was watering for some pork and pineapple off the spit. This ain’t it friends. Wish I could get my money back. Ate about half of it because I was so hungry.

What do you mean I just spent $50 on the most greasiest beef burrito I’ve ever had with a side of flavorless beans and rice. Also orders loaded fries, well, what looked like day old McDonald’s fries that were loaded up with so called Al pastor and a little bit of sour cream and guacamole? Outrageous. If you want something from here, stick to the tacos and steak burritos. Never going back to this El famous. Sticking to the one in Waukegan cause they care about their food.

I’ve always wondered how an 11.00 burrito costs over 18.00 at this joint. LOOK AT YOUR RECIEPT AND “DO NOT TIP”. THEY HAD 3 DIFFERENT FEES ON MY BURRITO. THERE WAS AN UPCHARGE BECAUSE THE PRICE FOR A BURRITO WAS THE SMALL ONE NOT THE FULL SIZE ONE, THEN THERE WAS A CONVENIENCE FEE, their prices are high enough without surprise charges.

Customer service is horrible! Came in at night to order a large guacamole & chips then decided to order more food after, we got home and they gave us a large red salsa & a very small side of guacamole that was old. Not sure if they didn’t have anymore guac and just tried to substitute but we drove back to get our guac but they just closed with one of the workers walking out. We then tried to go back a couple days later to explain what happen to get a new large guac that we paid for. The young cashier seem understanding but another older lady didn’t. The cashier said she would give me 2 guacamole so I ordered more food. It was the small size of guac so hubby went back in and the other lady told him they get complaints all the time & would not give us a large guac. Customer service is horrible, if they didn’t have guac that night they could have just told us instead. We won’t be coming back here anymore.

I visited for breakfast and the food was amazing. I came back the same night to get dinner for my family and this is how the sandwich was served the other half of the sandwich had kind of already been eaten. Because we didn’t realize at first that there’s barely any meat on the sandwich and the bread was not toasted at all.. when I called back it’s like she didn’t even believe me she’s telling me to bring the food back and my receipt. How am I going to bring the food back when it is the next day I am working mother I do not have money to waste and we all know Mexican food is not cheap. It’s amazing and it is not cheap. I either wanted a refund or just remake my order. It’s unbelievable that they would not even do that !! I won’t be going back!!
