Had an issue when my father tried to order pizza under this “new management.” The food was great after my father inquired about the Sicilian being made, to find out they are made from the start of the morning and reheated with extra fresh stuff on top to make it look good. It wasn’t bad.
Had a family outing yesterday evening, with children and adults, and there was NO care in this pizza or baked spaghetti. The baked spaghetti was more watery than the spaghetti, which was the only thing I can say (besides the side of bread for it) that was even worth the 100 I spent there. Baked spaghetti should not consist of more water than anything else. The Scicilian also tasted like dough, not fully cooked in the middle, and this is how we got the pizza (see photo attached).
No, we did not call for them to fix it, because not only would there be an argument, but what would the next set of food be like? More dough, less cheese, not fully cooked?
If they ever actually get new management, I MIGHT attempt them again. Loved this place, but they have completely messed up my orders for hundreds of dollars too many times.
Do not recommend unless you want undercooked food and argumentative employees… when we know how pizzas are supposed to be made.

Absolutely love this place! The Philley Cheesesteak is incredible—comfort food done right. Their New York–style pizza is spot on with a perfect crust, and the spaghetti brings a smile and full belly to my sons everytime. On top of the great food, the atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, which makes it even better. This has become our go-to spot and we’re always happy when we come in. Highly recommend

We met the owner Justin, he was amazing and so was his staff. The pizza he made for us was the best we’ve had in years, way better than Tony’s pizza in the mall, and we live in Kingston and came all the way to Jacksonville for this New York pizza, and boy it makes your mouth water just thinking about it but once you get there there’s not much left after you leave. We will definitely be back again!!!

I ordered a pizza from DoorDash, but it only had pepperoni on half of it. So, I called them and mentioned I was a bit frustrated and hungry after a long day at work. I hung up the phone. When I went back to check my order, I realized there was a problem with how you place an order on DoorDash. The short version is that I called and apologized to the manager for being rude. He offered to replace my pizza, even though it wasn’t their fault. I declined because, as a business owner, I appreciate when an issue is recognized and a solution is offered. I didn’t need a free pizza, but what I really needed was the patience of the team, who acted professionally and politely. Thanks, everyone! Also, the adult side of my pizza was amazing, and the sub was great too!

New York Pizzeria is my go to local spot for some pizza. But did doesn’t stop there they have it all, pizza by the slice, banging cheesesteaks, sandwiches and so much more. I’ve been coming here for 10 + years and never had a bad experience. I typically go with the Manhattan Pizza which has Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, spinach….this thing is killer but here’s some others I’ve had

This is the best restaurant I’ve ever ate at. New York Pizzeria is the premier of pizza. The dough, the cheese, the sauce, the employees are what blends everything together to turn anyone day from depressing to everything is going be okay. I miss this place so much. I wish I never moved.

Last min stop, pizza by the slice sign , was in and out in 5 min with fresh large slices that was heated in big oven tasted fresh. Recommend especially if on the go and cheese is great especially for kids!

Born and raised in NY. Been in Jax the last 10 years searching for NY pizza and this is it Food is amazing. People are friendly. It’s quiet, a little outside of town but worth the little drive. And the cute little claw machines in the back are a perfect touch.
