We worked with Palermo’s for our wedding cake, and they completely blew us away. We had a very ambitious request—a 6-foot-tall cake—and they didn’t bat an eye. They took our vision and brought it to life flawlessly. Not only was the cake a total showstopper, but it was also incredibly delicious (which is not always a given with wedding cakes!).
Leigh Ann was an absolute dream to work with—so kind, professional, and genuinely excited to make our idea happen. From start to finish, the process felt easy and joyful. We can’t recommend them enough and will definitely be back for future celebrations and special occasions.

Choosing Palermo bakery for our wedding cake was the best choice. The cake tasting box is a MUST and made for such a fun night. We had chocolate fudge, cannoli cream, and french raspberry cream layers for our 4-tier wedding cake. It was absolutely delicious and I can’t stop thinking about it!!!! We got married at the Ryland Inn so the cake was included in our package. It was a super easy process to order the cake online and customize it as much as we wanted. Thank you Palermo!

Palermo’s bakery has been making cakes for our family for several years. They have helped bring our creative visions to life for every major event/milestone in our lives such as our wedding, daughter’s baptism, graduations, my bridal shower, birthdays and more! Their cakes not only look beautiful but taste amazing as well! Working with Joanne and Leah Ann is always such a pleasure! They are always so friendly and accommodating. We are extremely disappointed with our experience and feel compelled to warn future couples.
On our wedding night, the bakery delivered a completely different cake than the one we ordered and agreed upon. This is not a minor mistake—this is a once-in-a-lifetime event where timing and accuracy matter most. There was no opportunity to correct the issue at the last minute. What exactly were we supposed to do on our wedding night—stop the reception and tell our guests not to eat the cake?
When we contacted the bakery after the wedding, their response was essentially “too bad” because people had already eaten it. That response was shocking and unacceptable. The error was entirely theirs, yet they took zero accountability.
To make matters worse, my wife has a nut allergy, and because the cake delivered was not what we ordered, she was afraid to eat her own wedding cake out of concern for having an allergic reaction. She did not get to enjoy the cake on our wedding night—something that should never happen due to a vendor’s mistake.
We requested a reimbursement due to the error and the safety concern involved, and we have been completely ignored for weeks with no response.
Between the wrong product, the dismissive attitude, the allergy risk, and the lack of follow-up or accountability, this was a deeply disappointing experience. We would strongly advise couples to think twice before trusting this bakery with such an important event.

Palermo Cafe & Bakery did an amazing job with our wedding cake. They were reasonably priced, very organized, and made the entire process incredibly easy from start to finish. The tasting was great, they helped us choose the perfect flavors, and the final cake looked stunning and tasted even better. Delivery was smooth and on time, and our guests could not stop complimenting the presentation and flavor. Their communication was clear, they answered every question, and they made sure we felt confident throughout the process. If you need a wedding cake or any custom bakery work, Palermo Cafe & Bakery is an excellent choice with great quality, great service, and people who take real pride in their craft.

Palermo’s Bakery was one of our preferred vendors with our wedding venue. Their process was so incredibly easy – if they’re included with your venue contract, you can stop by in person to pick up a free tasting box with no expectation. It was such a fun activity to taste all the cakes – especially because they were DELICIOUS. We worked with Olga on upgrading our cake with a custom design (for which we thought the pricing was reasonable) – she was super communicative and receptive to our feedback. The finished product was a HIT – the design was so elegant and tasteful and the texture/flavor of the cake on the wedding day was just as good as when we first tasted the samples. Can’t wait to dig into the layer we saved for our 1-year anniversary!!
