One of the best barbeque joints I’ve been to! They smoke their meats with a dry rub and dont drown the meat in sauce, instead it’s on the side for you to dip if you so choose to. The brisket was to die for! In fact, I actually bought a pound to take home. highly recommend checking this place out! it’s worth the drive

Best Brisket in the Northeast! My wife and I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon and were able to walk right in and order. Staff was very friendly and helped me understand the menu options and how i should order. I had the Brisket, my wife had the pulled pork. We also tried a couple sides. Everything was delicious, and best part is it cost me less than $30! Food is locally sourced and animal products are all natural not mass produced chemically enhanced garbage.
I recommend this place to everyone who wants authentic BBQ from the south here in the North East!

We really like this adorable place. It feels cozy. The menu is limited to meats that tastes great smoked. The turkey meat on the turkey sandwich was moist and smoked perfectly. Pulled pork was excellent. The soda can prices are a bit high. You can eat inside or outside. The bathroom is something to behold.

This is a great new find!! Charming casual log cabin atmosphere, fantastic smoker food, best baked beans I’ve ever eaten! Had Mexican smoked corn on the cob as a special. Add interesting beer selection and a very reasonable price tag, we will be back often. Give it a try!!

This cozy restaurant serves up amazingly good, authentic Texas BBQ. The beer selection is on point, and everyone was super friendly. You should come with friends and share a little bit of everything, but if you have to choose, get the brisket. Also try the cheesy potato side!

Update: This eatery closed a few months ago, unfortunately. The street sign and building remain. The door has a “thank you for your business” hand written sign posted on the window. Hard to do business in CT.
Succulent brisket. So tender it’s hard to serve as it breaks off a fork. Juicy. Mild flavor. The ribs are also tender and very flavorful. Wings, only offered on Sundays, are smoked not fried, so a nice change for wing eaters who regularly eat them. Try the chefs secret garlic parmesan dipping sauce for a different take on traditional blue cheese. Chili was very good. Their Mac and cheese and warm potato and bacon salad sides also good. Baked beans are standard fare as is the corn bread. A variety of microbrew beer is available on the premises. They proudly support local farms for their menu.
Though a large bar and a few tables are provided in this western casual smokehouse, takeout seems to be the way to go.

Being a self proclaimed pit master I was very impressed with the smoked meats. I had to have a sampling of everything. Lucky for me I was able to sample what everyone else at my table ordered…lol. I had ribs and brisket and wasn’t disappointed. No one at my table was. This is a must stop during our summer riding season.

Great price for a sampler box. $26.00 plus tax.
Coleslaw falls way below average standard. Mac- cheese was suitable for young children, potatoes forget.
If you like vinarger sauce this is right up your alley.
The meats were tender. No ribs because they sold out in an hoiur today.
I’ll try those in the future..
The resturant space was very nice. Plenty of sitting room.

Great barbeque. Wife had pulled pork, son had chicken, his girlfriend had ribs and I had brisket. Everyone was going on about how much they liked the food.
