This isn’t the kind of restaurant where you can sit down and enjoy the food and atmosphere in a relaxed setting. It seems to focus more on takeout orders. The ambiance felt a bit chaotic and not particularly comfortable. The food didn’t strike me as anything special, though the portions were generous—as you’d expect from a typical Chinese restaurant. I will not visit here again.

My husband and I had a pleasant and filling dinner here. We had the crispy noodles with vegetables, the sweet and sour chicken, and the orange chicken. Pictured in this order.
The food was very tasty, and the portions generous. Very good value for money.
Service was quick, considering it was a busy Sunday evening with a lot of take-out orders, and the staff were friendly.
The restaurant looks unassuming both outside and in, but don’t let it deceive you; the food is among the best Chinese I have ever had.

Terrible food and experience. A friend recommended I try it and was bad. Their brócoli chicken was nasty the meat was straight up lunch meat. No napkins no fork just a clear bag. Never had this bad experience in Chinese restaurant evr

I ordered the house special fried rice. The rice itself tasted ok but what was supposed to be chicken was definitely not chicken. I repeat; they do NOT use real chicken. I don’t know exactly what creature that meat is from but it’s definitely not chicken.

Do yourself a favor and try the food here. I had the General Tso’s Chicken which had a light crispy coating that and tender in the middle. The sauce had just the right amount of spicy to sweet and was a tasty treat. Next up was the Sesame Beef and let me tell you it was so good. Great flavor with a nice crisp bite to delight the taste buds. Just the right amount of sauce to show the beef who’s boss. You get a lot for your money, probably enough to feed feed four here but I’m so greedy and it was so good that I smashed these both in 2 separate sittings. Comes with a side of jasmine rice that is light and fluffy, you can tell everything here is cooked to order as everything was so fresh. I will definitely visit again.

Hong Kong Restaurant is delicious and affordable. The Dan Dan Noodles are flavorful with Sichuan Peppercorns, Chinese Cinnamon, Star Anise, Crushed Red Pepper Flake, Ground Pork, Hoisin Sauce, Garlic, Bok Choy, Chopped Peanuts, and Noodles. Pairs well with Sichuan Twice Cooked Pork with Spicy Seared Pork Belly, Hot Bean Paste, Garlic, Long Hot Green Peppers, and Leeks, and it melts in your mouth. The Pork Fried Rice is perfect with Pork, Peas, Scrambled Eggs, and Green Onions. I love the Crispy Almond Cookies. The staff is always very accommodating and fast workers.

We got the honey walnut shrimp, spring fish soup, and pork dumplings. Way bigger portions than I was expecting and it was all so good!

This unassuming spot is a great option for a variety of fast, large-portioned Chinese (and “Asian fusion”) options. When it’s cold I’ve been enjoying popping over for a bowl of their egg flower/drop soup, to which they add corn and tofu, making it a little more filling than just the egg style.
Everyone has been very friendly, they are not the cheapest of this cuisine in town but they are in my top choices for Chinese food nonetheless, and again, portions are solid. I believe they even do some handmade noodles and dumplings.
Maybe it’s because it reminds me of where I am from in the Northeast, but I love the unassuming building, bright red and yellow signage, numbered menu system… and the spices they use remind me of eating Chinese-American cuisine in New York…but lighter. Great lil gem hidden in plain sight.

Celebrate the New Year. Rabbit? I have not eaten here in years. The menu is a little different. Some change to the interior. Still, I enjoyed my meal. I took A Big Dish of Beef Chow Mein home with me in the rain. Steamed Pot Stickers as well. Always gotta get Pot Stickers. Or Dumplings. Or Gyoza. Or what have you will. Is it food? Yes. Did I order American-Chinese food? Yes. Did I take it home with me and Lucas Sin the hell out of the Chow Mein? Yes. Yes, I did. It is a huge freakin’ order, I will tell you that. My quest for Oregon Chinese food continues.
