If you enjoy authentic Indian Curries this is your spot. Excellent service, friendly and welcoming. They gave me some delicious vegetables rolls with mint and tamarind sauce to par with my Taj beer. These sauces are one of the best I’ve have the pleasure to try. Enjoyed Taj special curry with paneer hot was my choice of spice. Garlic Naan was hot fresh, also the vegetable Samosa was hot and crispy. Thank you for your kind service along with superb food and fantastic hospitality.

People order food to enjoy a meal and celebrate an occasion. In this case, the poor quality of the food completely spoiled the mood and ruined the experience.
The biryani was extremely disappointing, and the dish served as “Butter Chicken” did not resemble the traditional preparation at all. It contained akkha kaju (whole cashews) and whole raisins, which is not consistent with any (authentic or non-authentic) Butter Chicken recipe, where cashews are typically used as a fine paste.
What made this worse was the owner’s defensive and dismissive response to an honest review instead of addressing the issue professionally. Claiming authentic Indian food while serving dishes prepared this way is misleading. Customer feedback deserves accountability, not arrogance.

Currently living in Battle Lake, MN – my family and I from FL enjoy Indian cuisine from time to time, while easily found in Orlando , in MN has proven quite a task.
Driving 1 hour and 30 mins to this restaurant was totally worth it, wow just wow. Definitely satisfied our craving. The Chicken Makhani and Curry chicken was superb and full of flavor.
The Garlic naan fresh, soft and delicious, perfect amount of garlic as well. We also had vegetable pakora however we devoured them to fast to take a picture, needless to say were also very good.
The mango cake was such a refreshing dessert and addition to our meal.
The service inside was kind and courteous, clean establishment was observed while here even for a few minutes while we ordered our food.
Alas, well worth the trip for authentic Indian cuisine that we will gladly drive to!

I stopped in on a cold day to grab some lunch to go. The woman at the cash register (I believe she may have been the owner) was incredibly kind and considerate. Even though I ordered to-go, I was offered a hot tea free of charge while I waited which was incredibly sweet and generous!
The restaurant itself was clean, with a cozy laid-back atmosphere.
My food was prepared quickly and super yummy! I got the chicken kashmiri, veggie samosas, and paneer naan.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. In today’s day and age where service can feel impersonal, rushed, and disingenuous– Taj India is a breath of fresh air.

Interesting layout for Indian cuisine. Service was okay and food was pretty good. The Naan and butter chicken were excellent as well as the dumplings. Prices are as expected and nice portions for food! A good size menu with many options. Would return to try more.

Great food… Good indian restaurant with its own unique taste and flavour. We took the chef especial chicken curry and Goat biriyani. Chicken curry was very good. Took extra hot snd it was perfect. Amount of goat in biriyani was good but it was a little wet for biriyani. Little bit more dry would make it perfect. However taste was spot on. I really enjoyed the food. The chai was very good. We asked to heat the chai as it got cold. They replaced with hot tea for us. I highly recommend it.
