The bagels here were very good and had great flavor and texture! Muhammad helped me out and his service was great! Everyone here was very friendly and all of my friends enjoyed the assorted bagels here! The everything bagel, the French toast bagel was unique, and they were fresh! I ordered myself a pork roll, egg & cheese, salt pepper ketchup on an everything bagel with hash brown and it was incredible!

Great deli. Just have to be careful they will over charge if you don’t check the order in store. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Highly recommend this place!

The owner is a nice person who aims to serve his customers. The staff, not so much. For the price, the sandwiches should be good, but the portions are poor. This is not the first time I’ve had an issue, thinking maybe it was just a one off (everyone had a bad day sometimes) but for what I was charged today for a ham hero, there were 4 slices of ham on the sandwich. I won’t be back.

Prices vary depending on what you order. In in most cases, they are fair, but in some areas they’re not. Example 3 dollars for a mimi bagel ( seriously) that should be a $1.50 at most.
They won’t turn on the fryer early in the morning. I don’t know why. So you can never get French fries with your meal unless it’s lunchtime, and if you order a hash brown with a breakfast meal, it’s always a soggy mess from the grill. They have a deep fryer, but they won’t turn it till lunch time.

I am very disappointed with my recent visit to Barry’s Bagel and Deli in Clifton, NJ. The place looks neglected and is very dark inside, which already gave me concerns about cleanliness. The bigger issue is the freshness and quality of the food. I purchased whitefish salad and got very sick after eating it. This is a serious matter and I hope they address food safety and overall quality right away.

Overall not a good experience. Ordered a mini bagel with strawberry cream cheese…the photo speaks for itself. Took a small bite and through it away. Never in my life have I seen strawberry cream cheese look this way. Extremely disappointed, not edible at all.

Friendly staff, and the food is actually good quality. The main issue is the portion size. I spent ten dollars on a breakfast sandwich that left me still hungry afterwards. Would not recommend for anyone with a big appetite.

I’ve been going to Barry’s for a few years now. But they are going really cheap with their meat portions in a sandwich. Recently I asked for sandwich on a hero bread and it had three slices of Taylor Ham and Three slices of bacon. It was on hero bread. On a hero bread you should get more slices of each type of meat. Please work with your staff and workers to make better sandwiches

I stopped to get breakfast sandwiches for my niece and nephew before heading down the shore. If you’re into paper thin taylor ham and barely any egg then come to this place. I can’t imagine how this place is competing with other bagel places in town when their sandwiches are a great deal heftier. Also my nephew wanted a bacon and egg sandwich and literally had 1 slice of bacon cut in two for each half of his sandwich! Really Cmon?? The staff is friendly and helpful but I can’t say that alone will get me back through those doors!! I hope you can use this review to help improve on your business.
