This review is only based off the food we ordered which was broasted chicken and ribs with an appetizer sampler. I think the best part was the cheese curds. It was all okay… not much different than cafeteria food, but good enough if you don’t want to cook and clean up. I bet their breakfast foods are better. I will update once I try more.

Friendly staff. We were able to be seated right away. Food was ok. Didn’t care for the cheese on the “best bacon cheeseburger in the city”. Seasoned fries were tasty. I would like to return to try their breakfast options.

Awesome place for breakfast. I live 70 miles away. And would probably drive back there just for breakfast. I would imagine their lunch is just as great. Great service too, large portions, super value.

Great food, Great service and a comfy classic restaurant atmosphere. I usually eat their breakfast and I always get the brisket Benedict. It’s one of my favorites since the first time I ordered it. I would highly recommend this restaurant especially their breakfast menu. I would post photos but I always finish my food before I can even remember to post it so others can see. 100/100

Trucks Place is back! Reopened today! Of course, we had to go! We’ve missed this place. Food was excellent, as always, and they’ve spruced the place up nicely. Can’t wait to order a pizza, our family favorite!

Fantastic food and service! Had the Mexican skillet and hubs had the meat lovers omelet. Highly recommend the breakfast at Trucks! If you choose pancakes instead of toast- you will get 2 fluffy buttermilk pancakes and they are almost a meal themselves!

I was so excited to see that they finally reopened I went there often before they mysteriously closed. I went in and it was busy but not overwhelming. Was seated (told to sit where I wanted) right away and offered a menu and drink immediately, Diet coke 20oz. I knew what I wanted as their broasted chicken was always great. I got my salad and waited the extra time for the chicken, although 28 minutes was longer than I normally wait but, it was busy. I received my food and thought the chicken looked a bit darker than I remember but went about eating the dinner. Well the chicken was definately over done but I also I didnt want to wait another 25+minutes to get more. All of the other elements of the dinner were good. I absolutely think the wait person should have noticed the problem before delivering the order but they didnt. SMH. Well I ate the meal and was done and waited another 12 minutes to get my bill, eh not a huge issue but here is where I am a bit unhappy. They charge, as many do, to use plastic to pay. .43 cents on the total of 14.29. yeah wish I had known I would pay $3.00 for the diet Pepsi, should have gotten water, that’s beside the point. The bottom line of the bill is they also charged sales tax on the credit card fee. How does a place charge sales tax on a punitive fee. One of my favorite restaurants is no longer on the goto list….Also the whole staff has been replaced it seems. Too bad, I used to like Trucks Place. not any more

Hubby and I both had a wonderful delicious meal at Trucks in Birnamwood! Our waitress Jamie was so sweet, and did absolutely phenomenal. She went out of her way to satisfy each and every one of us in the restaurant! She said she was new and learning. We’d can’t be happier with our visit. We will definitely return!

We stumbled upon this place 2 years ago after Hodag and now we always stop on our way home. Great soup, great service. Sometimes they drop dishes but don’t let that deter you.
