I had a great experience at Grounds Bistro & Cafe! I ordered the donut bacon cheeseburger, and it was so good.

The sweet donut paired perfectly with the savory bacon and burger. The potatoes on the side were cooked perfectly: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for great food and a fun menu.

Our family regularly frequents this cafe. The food is always a hit – even my darling persnickety eaters enjoy the food selection here. There is something for everyone. We often share food as so many options appeal it’s hard to narrow it down. My girls get the fancy coffee drinks and love them. The inexpensive locally made seasonal items for sale are fun to peruse – great selection of handcrafted gifts for every budget. Staff treat us like old friends. And despite the cacophony of sounds babies make and mess they sometimes leave behind despite our best efforts, the wait staff are wonderful and helpful. Can’t say enough about this little gem:) Highly recommend!

Stopped here for lunch with one of my daughters on a weekday during off peak hours. It was very quiet and nice. The food was good, but the coffee wasn’t my favorite. The server was very helpful when I had questions. I had looked at photos of menus here on Google, and some of the menus here are out of date, so what I decided to order ahead of time was no longer on the menu. They do update their menus, so I will post an accurate menu as of the date of this review. We ordered the mozzarella logs, a Cobb salad with salmon (we did sub the cheese and the dressing for my 9 year old), and a mushroom Swiss burger. The coffee I ordered was an iced caramel latte. It was bad, just not my favorite. Overall a cute little place to grab a bite to eat!

We came on valentines day. I wish I remembered our severs name, she was amazing! The bartender was great, everyone was great! The service, the food, it was all excellent. We can’t wait to go back with the kids! Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Service was average, food was average, water was disgusting definitely tap water..my burger was decent but I’ve definitely had better.. a nice atmosphere but was empty during lunch hour on a Friday with many apartments and people around seemed odd to me..but with the average food I understand why..my wife had the lettuce tacos and again just average may return to see if maybe it was a bad day. The nachos and onion rings actually was the best of the meal

Tried this little gem the other day for lunch with a friend! This cobb salad with their fried chicken on top was fantastic! Freshly prepared and a very large portion. The overall feel of the place was a local cozy cafe with a friendly staff. A must try in Stafford

We found this a bit by accident as we were looking for something interesting for lunch. It’s tucked away in a residential neighborhood, quiet, and very worth the short search. Creative and varied menu (take a look at the one online), good drink options–coffee-related and alcoholic–and super service!

Very nice place to get a quick breakfast. Everything that we had was actually pretty good except for the shrimp and grits. The grits actually kind of tasted like cheesy soup which really caught us off guard. Silverware was a little dirty but definitely not a end all be all case. There was no wait for us to get in here and we came on a Sunday morning around 10:00am.

I think the food quality has gone down since this place has open. I ordered nachos and pretty much just got a plate full of chips, barely any meat. My chicken tenders were completely soggy and disgusting and halfway burnt. Don’t think I’ll be coming back. My previous experience here about two years ago was really good but now it’s not the same.

I visited The Grounds Bistro and Cafe today for a paint party with Austin Acres. I had the turkey, cheese, apple, and honey mustard Panini and it was so good. All of the flavors were such a nice compliment with none overpowering the other. The bread was fresh with seeds and grains, apple was fresh and crisp, meat was quality, and the cheese was perfect. Fries were very flavorful and came out crispy and hot.

The young man serving the party was very polite and attentive.

I’ll definitely be bringing my husband to try more! I’ll also be back for a paint party.
