I’ve been wanting to try a “Michelin star” restaurant and wow I’m so disappointed. Shrimp tacos are ok, nothing impressive however the location can do better, restroom is very small and sink is off you get all get when you try to wash your hands.
I really support Mexican food but this not the best to eat shrimp tacos regardless of their Michelin star.

I go for shrimp tacos and agua chiles.
Aguachile got tha heat! Paired with the tostada shell and fresh tasting fish for some balance… its nice and spicey and addicting.
The shrimp tacos are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside smothered with a delicious sauce.

Ohhh emmm G. This place serves delicious seafood. I had the shrimp tacos and was not expecting that flavor burst. Shrimp ceviche was refreshing and thr aguaschiles was spicy but worth it.

The pros is that the taco is definitely unique. I did find it memorable for sure. However I’m not sure the difference is necessarily better and the shrimp felt a bit overcharred. Perhaps at least worth a try.

Service was okay. My review mainly reflects on the food. Food was horrible! My shrimp tacos were hella SALTY. My stomach ended up hurting. The shrimps in the cocktail were not clean. They don’t remove the blue vein. Considering this place has a Michelin star, I expected better quality food. Overall I don’t understand the hype for this place. I would not recommend this place.

The food and service were great, but this location is sketchy for sure. I suggest you order take out during the day and enjoy your food at home. Homeless and graffiti everywhere. They do a great job of packing the tacos dorados to go, so it doesn’t get soggy. Surprised they are still only $2.50 each. I’ve tried a few other items at this and the ELA location, but the tacos are the reason to go and they are still amazing.

The food is really good here and I’m basing my reviewing mostly on the fact that they open at 10 in the morning but when you try to order something at that time, they don’t have anything ready till 12 PM. They should just open at 12 PM then?

The Poseidon Tostada is the best form of ceviche I have ever had. No other place compares. That spicy aguachile is killer but so worth the burn.
