Visited this location to take advantage of the Fridays/November special for VIP members, BOGO Unforgettable sandwiches, which are my favorite @ Baggins. However, the normal price is $15.25, which I feel is too expensive. I drove to the Ft Lowell location and arrived at 7:25pm and saw that they had closed at 7 PM, so I drove the extra 5-6 miles to go to the Orange Grove/Oracle location and arrived at 7:44 PM. There was no one else in the store. As I walked up to the register to order, I could clearly see that the cashier was not very happy to see me. She was short with me when she took my order. I sat down to wait for my 2 sandwiches which I ordered to go. Another lady came in to order at about 7:50 and the cashier informed her that the store was closing in 10 minutes in an annoyed tone which was uncomfortable. The cashier called my name a few minutes later (still before 8 PM) and handed me 2 bags, each one with one sandwich which I thought was a little strange. Wondered why she hadn’t put both sandwiches in one bag. When I got home (almost a half hour drive), I removed the sandwiches, and also the cookie that was in each bag. I was very unpleasantly surprised to see that each bag contained a quarter of a cookie. The cashier at no time informed me that the restaurant had run out of cookies and she would be giving me a half cookie cut into quarters, instead of the customary 2 whole cookies (one with each sandwich). The sandwich was DELICIOUS as always, but the service offered by the cashier (possibly a manger) left a great deal to be desired. Very disappointed with the experience.
And YES, I am a regular customer and will continue to frequent Baggins, but will avoid the Orange Grove location. The photos show the time that she rang up my order and also the quarter cookies that were placed in each bag.

Great when u just want a good sandwich, got myself the BLT and added turkey for a total of $19, and the sandwich master behind the counter, Jacob H. was very nice and was patient with us asking him twice about the cookie on the side as he kindly explained “Every sandwich comes with a cookie.” wise words jacob, you better stay true to your word…

on 12/4/25 my office had a large order for a medical practice. The order was placed at 10:41to be promised by Tim @12.33 Well, the order was dropped off at 1:20 finally when staff had to go back to work. The Dr’s soda was warm and watered down from all the ice melting and some orders were wrong not to mention it all smelled like cigarette smoke. We do order from this Baggins often and never had a problem. I have been calling since to speak to a manager, left several voice mails and still have yet to hear from them. If it was just for me no biggie but now my providers and nurses were all left with the wrong lunch or no lunch at all.

Placed an online order at 130pm and was given a pickup at 2:14. Showed up at 2pm and the counter hadn’t picked up our ticket yet to make the sandwiches.
At 2:42 we are still waiting for 8 sandwiches to be made. Had people who ordered in line after us have their sandwiches made.
The workers appear to be working hard, maybe they’re understaffed but it was a frustrating and underwhelming experience for 8 sandwiches.

Apathetically served expensive sandwiches with fresh ingredients. I ordered 2 sandwiches. Prep time was reasonable (10 min) but when they’re busy it can take 20. I was handed my order and was on my way. Hungry, tired and ill, the turkey sandwich would ease the pain. Sadly only 1 sandwich was in the bag. I went back. Mistakes happen but the unapologetic apathetic way I was handed the second sandwich was a sad reflection of the state of the world. And/or they were high.

I use to love eating at Baggins and got the Albuquerque Turkey everytime. But for some reason they changed the recipe and it’s absolutely disgusting, and now I’ll never go there again. Which makes me sad. Stop cutting the important corners or you’ll end up like a bunch of other fast food chains that end up closing 90% of their stores because they’ve taken all the items people actually like, off the menu. Or changing the recipe to cheap alternative ingredients. Just stop before it’s too late.

Any time that I travel to Tucson, my first stop is always Baggin’s. Like the name says, the Unforgettable is something that I can’t stop thinking about, and don’t overlook the side salads – they are delicious as well. There are so many things that I would love to try on the menu, but I never get past my favorite – it is that good 🙂 The complimentary cookie is always a nice touch, and the spiced ice tea is addictive.
Unfortunately, this location didn’t seem to have the attention to detail as other locations do. Even though there was only one other person in the store, it took awhile to get someone’s attention to take my order. The store also had an off-putting smell to it, so I took my sandwich and ate it in the car. Please come to Texas so I can have my favorite sandwich more often!

Edit** the food was still good 🙂 This was the absolute slowest baggins experience I’ve ever had. I waited 10 minutes in line for them to label bags, then as I sit here for another 20 minutes waiting for food, I kid you not, while I write this, another customer equally frustrated, who ordered before me, asked “how’s our food coming?” Lol I might get to eat by dinner. Just wow, I should have planned to go run errands or something. But as I continue to wait, so far another 5 minutes while I finish this review I’ll go back to watching some Netflix.
Pick a different place if your hungry.

Baggins May special is so good! The Pima Melt. It’s ham, turkey and bacon w/ muenster cheese on rye marble bread. We got it with their yummy broccoli cheddar soup.
Order ahead on the app with no issues! The employees are hustling! Getting everything out quickly and making sure you have everything you need.
We love our location! So happy it’s super close to us.
