Ordered a medium New York steak and it came out beautifully. The baked patatoe was very flavorful and the service was good despite being Valentine’s Day and the place being full. Definitely one of my top 3 steakhouses.

It is my second visit to the restaurant and as always everything was delicious and the service was great and quick! To avoid long waiting time, i recommend to go during weekdays and The Baby back ribs are definitely not to be missed!

First thing I would like to note is, I came in here with a non-biased opinion. Firstly when walking in, I find the hostess on their phone with no attention to the door and customers walking in. Apart from that the servers were very friendly and well trained as they were able to serve a table of 8+. Now, to the main point of this bad review. The food. Steak showered in pepper. The potato was on point and loaded to perfection. But the main disappointment, the steak. How is the main food item on my plate the worse. When I saw showered I mean it was covered in pepper to the point it left a slight spicy flavor to each bite. Apart from this however service was fast and friendly and I would expect more from Longhorn.

TOO GOOD! great flavor on the steak, ribs, and chicken tenders. The complimentary bread was warm and the butter was nice and salty. The lemonade was just the right amount of sour and sweet. If you’re craving steak come here and skip the other steakhouses.

Ok, yall, this place. idk. My experience was the worst. Went for a birthday gathering party of 6. Long story short, I think I ordered 2nd to the least difficult dish chicken fried steak. Everyone else ordered ribs, etc. When they brought mine and everyone else’s mine was literally cold as if it was sitting on that counter forever because we did wait more than an hour and within that hour our waiter never came to ck on us no refills we always had to flag him down or interup other waitresses or waiters because ours was M.I.A all the time. When I addressed that my meal was cold, not to mention burnt asparagus and very salty and forgot the gravy that goes with it. ♀️I already waited forever on it. So I thought they had fresh ones made and would swap nope! I waited another 20 min by this time everyone had finished and I was the only one not eating.. got my plate complete but by this time I lost my appetite and was already upset because he still hadn’t come back and ck on the others. He forgot other items from their orders for my other guests. It was just a huge mess. Brought 1 loaf of bread for 6 people. I was like. Seriosly… oh boy! This was on a sunday afternoon I wouldn’t come back tell you this much I’d rather go to the one in weslaco even if I have to drive up there at least things are up to par and no issues. Presintation on food here is fine, but either missing side dishes, burnt items,cold items or needed refills list goes on. You all been open for quite a while before I decided to come in. I figure staff be well trained by now, yet I was wrong. In the end he didn’t charge my dish which was good for me yet bad for the longhorn and it’s not abt the money it was more abt customer service and it was bad.

Good location, friendly attentive staff, off the expressway and limited parking. Food is good and priced accordingly. First time visit. Overall a good experience, with just a minor hiccup: dirty silverware, and a slight foul aroma in the dinning area (could be from unclean carpet), clean restrooms.

The coffee was delicious, our salads was fresh. Had the ribeye steak and baby back ribs with brussel sprouts. The food was excellent. You only get one side with the meal and they charge for the salad.

My husband and I frequent Longhorn and are typically always satisfied with our experience. Today’s visit however was very disappointing. When we were waiting to be seated the hostess was bad mouthing a family because of the party size they brought in. When we finally got asked how many she answered the phone and left us waiting there. After about 5 mins we finally got seated (there was no wait time it was just staff taking a while). After ordering our food my salad was very discolored and brown, we ordered an appetizer as well and it was unfortunately a disappointment in appearance. Considering I’m paying $15 for just the app you would’ve assumed it would have came out better. The only positive note was the manager. We called him over and explained our disappointment in our visit and offered to pay for the none eaten app, my salad, and our drinks but he said it was fine. We left but we do not plan on eating at this establishment moving forward. We would rather drive to Harlingen in the future.
