Mariscos Los Cundados is a “best in Heber” new restaurant. My brother in law was in town recently from NYC and went here on a recommendation from a friend. He was blown away. So we went to Heber to try it and it’s fantastic.
A few things to know before you go. First, it’s not a traditional Mexican restaurant, which is great! It’s a seafood Mexican place and most dishes have seafood based. This also means that you’re not going to find burritos, fajitas, and enchiladas (again…. All good) but know this in advance and go with an open mind. But they do offer several excellent tacos
We loved the chips and salsa to start, loved the Camerones la Diablo, the Shrimp Ceviche Tostada, and the tacos. The carne asada was also good.

We have had a many of the items on the menu, and they are all fantastic. Carlos, the owner, is usually here and he is very friendly and sometimes will tell you the stories behind dishes.
We especially liked the seafood ceviche.
The presentation is as spectacular as the food itself. Generally you hear an audible “wow” when the food is brought out and you see a unique dish for the first time.

Delicioso! What a great addition to the Heber area. We went for lunch and found the menu impressive with all its choices! I had the shrimp, which was delicious and tasty. My husband had the fish & loved it! We look forward to returning because there are so many other things to try.

This place used to be so good… our go too Heber. I took my whole family of 8 w boyfriends last Friday and everyone that got the “carne asada” left with stomach aches that lasted for 2 days. The meat was horrible to say the least. I hope it was a fluke for them but I just think they had to know the meat was old and bad. Thanks for ruining our weekend.

Owner was here and seated us- took our order and cooked our meal! HOLY MOLY, thee best shrimp and fish tacos I have ever had! Chips and salsa were hot and homemade! Don’t be skeptical of the outside of this spot! This will be our go to anytime we are in Heber! This is a 15 out of 10!!

So I see lots of people coming to try this place out, mariscos is no longer open, if they relocated I wouldn’t know we’re too but there is a new/relocation of lopitas opening soon just wanted to see if anybody would see this in case you’re thinking about coming I tried to suggest an edit n google didn’t do anything about it, the new place is not yet open but will be soon

Best fish taco I have had in years! Service was great, very friendly and informative. All our food was fantastic! I think all the occupants of the area it’s located could clean up the courtyard and make improvements but that won’t stop us from eating there again!
