Bartender is very knowledgeable & helpful. Seems like a local joint but everyone was friendly the pool tables were easily accessible and the bathrooms were clean. Great place to stop in between meals!

Absolute dive bar. If you like one toothed bartenders and warm beer this is your spot. On the upside: beer is cheap, on the downside: cash only. They haven’t invested in a credit card processor just yet…be patient though, it’s coming. For now just pay the three dollar fee and suck down a warm beer. Sorry Big I, this city boy won’t be back.

The drinks were not the best (according to those drinking) but they were nice. Unfortunately it seems the staff might have been a bit newer so things were a bit slower. Still worth a visit, especially since it’s such a history icon in downtown Fairbanks

Went for the Alaska BBQ Championship. Tried 15 entries and submitted our votes. Stayed to hear the local band Crimzen. We enjoyed them for about an hour. We will go again for the music.

Many years ago I used to frequent the Silver Dollar Saloon (Gone) and the Golden Nugget (Gone) . I am happily surprised to see the International Hotel is alive and well. Love Fairbanks, the Malamute Saloon (Changed Hands) and the International Hotel.

Love this place. The bar tenders are so nice and the drinks are good. Monique is the best of the best bartenders! We have never had a bad experience here. They do fun events like Foam Parties and have DJs on the weekends. 5/5 stars for sure.
