I ordered dabeli, a Gujarati-style Indian street snack. Think of it as an Indian street-food version of a sandwich: mashed potatoes mixed with tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet flavors, along with peanuts and spices, stuffed inside a butter-toasted pav (soft bread). It’s incredibly flavorful, a real flavor bomb; even though it’s mostly potato-based with no protein.
I also tried papdi chaat, another classic Indian street food. It’s a cold, chaat-style dish loaded with crunchy papdi, yogurt, potatoes, chutneys, pomegranate, and a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors. This one was also reasonably good as well.
While neither dish was the absolute best I’ve ever had, considering being in California, I’d say they were reasonably good and satisfying. If you’re craving Indian street food, this place is definitely worth a try.
They have more vegan options, Daal, bhindi, Rajma, some salads and snacks .
I would request you to add more vegan options. You have so many things on the menu that can easily be vegan.
Also YOU NEED TO INTRODUCE VEGAN THAALI. A lot of options on your menu are vegan why don’t you just mix it up and add it as a thaali?
We need more vegan options. Thank you for the existing ones
Food was yum. We had the paneer tikka sizzler, chole bharure, and sweet lassi.
Special mention to the chutneys with the tikka…sooo good.
The bhatura was so soft, it was breaking while lifting.
The place was as desi as it gets. Have never seen so much crowd as for this one in Bay Area. So kudos to the service.
Their Chinese Bhel is a tasty snack worth trying as well. We didn’t enjoy the taste of pav bhaji as much. Service is quick, and the ambience is pleasant—definitely a notch above the Fremont and Sunnyvale branches, thanks to the newer setup.
Highly recommended!
