*Response to the owner’s response: It was right at the “ish” time posted on your door. I could see your employees still inside the business. When I walked up they said “We’re closed”.
No worries. I went down to The Red Dog and had freshly made oven pizza. It was really good. It’s not a big deal. It’s just that parking in V.C. can be difficult on my bike and I’d made the trip up and down the street twice to find a place to park by your biz. I was out here a couple years back and tried to give you business twice then and you were closed both times. I love V.C. the people there are always friendly and the businesses are for the most part hospitable and welcoming. Thank you for your response.

Had the BBQ Nacho Plate. Casual spot near the end of the historic street for a bite to eat when exploring Virginia City. Patio seating available. Easy to order. Food came very quickly.

Virginia City Jerky Co. is an awesome place to eat. The food portions are very generous, and they were served quickly and hot. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was the best she had ever had. They do not have fries. There is street parking but nothing specific to the restaurant. They do provide cups if you want water. The outdoor seating is nice with misters. It’s definitely a place you want to visit when you are in Virginia City

By far the best pulled pork sandwiches on any of our trips, we actually had this on our list of To-Do’s again after we found out a couple years ago. Really nice and friendly staff and the place just has the feeling of the kind of spots we like to frequent.
Not too mention Virginia City is about as fun as they get, I’ll take this size town over a big honker any day!

Food was excellent!!! I ordered the vc firecracker very spicy polish dog but it was dang good! My boyfriend ordered v.c cheese steak sandwich and his daughter ordered beef tri tip sandwich. Both meals were great lots of meat. Although the mac and cheese was a little cold they were about to close. Best bbq in VC!!

Never been to Virginia city before, but this place came highly recommended and did not disappoint! The entire town is a treasure and Jerky Co will definitely be a place we will make sure to hit when we come back again. Suggest the tri-tip sandwich and potato salad. They have PBR tall boys. And shots. The seating is all outdoors and really gives you a good small town feeling.
