Large menu, good food, great service, appropriate prices, and in a good location. Small parking lot adjacent to restaurant. Fills up fast so street parking may be in order. Clean bathrooms. Outdoor patio in the shade.

We have recently discovered Judy’s Cantina and thought we would try them out. I had heard about them when they were on North Ave, but because of the fire we never had a chance to try them. Let me tell you, I’m glad that they have stayed in the neighborhood. We have been there a few times and every time we go, the food is absolutely phenomenal. When we go to places often, I will normally find one thing and stick with that. At Judy’s, every time we go I have ordered something different. The food is so good and we always have great service. Everyone is very welcoming and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The chips and salsa are great(make sure you get the green salsa). Everything is fresh and just absolutely delicious!!

The server is amazing! She is so helpful and nice. 5 star over all because, I want more. Chicken is awesome! Pork is ok. Steak is awful. Just a heads up on that. 2 star for the steak, yuck. Beans and rice were good.

Husband and I grabbed an early dinner before a concert at the Fiserv tonight – a semi-recreation of our first date from Judy’s on North. Same great food and margies, new great atmosphere. Javi our server was SUPER personable and made the experience even better!! 10/10 recommend and can’t wait to come back next time we have a date night in the Milwaukee area. Hope Javi is there!!

Stopped at the food truck in the evening. I got the pork tamale dinner. The tamales were good but I was very sad at the portion sizes of the rice and beans. I got a few bites each, maybe I just got shorted.
I also ordered chips and salsa. The salsa was very very watery? and sadly too spicy for me 🙁

Stopped in for dinner, sat at the bar. Our bartender was absolutely amazing. Appetizers combo was good. So we decided to stay. I ordered the queso fundido and my husband ordered shredded beef taquitos. It was just ok. But thanks to our awesome bartender/server I’m giving them 4stars! Thanks!

I’ve been eating at Judy’s for years. They used to be my favorite place to get Mexican food hands down. But I feel as though the quality has slipped over time. But the prices continue to increase.
I always get steak nachos. The last few times I’ve gotten them, only the top layer of chips has had cheese and meat on it. Under that is just layers of plain chips. After I eat the coated layer of chips, the container is still full to the top with plain chips that didn’t have any nacho on them. When I first started eating there, steak nachos were $12. Now they’re $15 and they don’t even coat all the chips.
The service is amazing every time. I’ve never caught a bad vibe from any of the workers they’re amazing every time. But we haven’t been happy with the food the last few times and I hate to say that because this was once my favorite place to eat. Sadly I don’t think we’ll be ordering in the future. But I wish these people the best.
I’ve attached a picture of the steak nachos because they are bomb! I just don’t get nearly enough for my money.
