The workers are so nice and kind they gave me a free drink. They brought condiments to my table and were just so kind and caring burgers are amazing and fries are so freaking good. I eat here often, and it’s consistently fantastic. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the value is unbeatable. You can tell the team takes real pride in their work—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and clearly cares about the quality of the restaurant. One of my favorite spots for a great Mediterranean food! Been a long time customer of Gourmet Grill both at Clock Tower and O street. The food is always great and I love the Spicy Plate. But it used to be $7, then $9, then $12, then $15. I got a spicy plate and a pop a couple of weeks ago and it was literally just under $19, and then I got the iPad spun around asking for a tip. Yikes! Man, I love to eat at Gourmet Grill, but that’s just over my discretionary lunch budget, especially for fast food. Sadly, I probably won’t be back and I wanted to let you guys know why.
Side note: please stop asking for a tip when you’re the owner, and we are both standing at the counter. Nobody likes that. If you feel like bringing out the food to the table is extra service, I’m happy to pick it up from the counter like everywhere else.

Late in the evening, they were getting ready to close. I ordered #1 extra sauce. IT WAS WONDERFUL. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the tzatziki sauce is full of flavor. The gyro together was as perfect as a rock ballad. Thank you! I’ll be back!
