From the salsa to entrees – everything was seasoned nicely and flavorful.
Love that they have lunch specials every day.
Drink specials, too.
After asking for whole chips, the server’s attitude changed. We shouldn’t have received broken chips/ bottom of the bag crumbs first thing in the morning. – literally their first customer.
Other than that, really delicious food and decent serving sizes.
I know it’s weird – but I love the restrooms.

We’ll be back! My Fiance and I each had our own lunch fajitas and our son had a kids quesadilla. With a 25% tip we still left under $50. Fantastic value and a fun atmosphere. Brenda gave us great hospitality. Thanks for having us!

Since the new ownership, we have been less than impressed with most everything we have been served. We frequent the restaurant and loved going when Raul, Jorge, Michelle, and Alex were there. They always were very on top of things and served us well. With the new ownership, it seems like there is a combativeness with the staff on most everything. We are not “karens” but we do have special requests and previously, they were fulfilled without even being asked. Now, its like pulling teeth to have anything different than what the menu offers.
We truly used to LOVE Lalo’s, but I think we will be going elsewhere from now on for a good Tex-Mex menu.

I would not normally write an explanation like this but this time I think I should. I am a pescatarian but am more vegetarian (really only do fish if my only other option is a salad) and often restaurants can omit meat and add veggies for me. I’m cool with that. When I went to this place, I asked my server if that would be okay after he told me that as a vegetarian, I could get a salad without meat if I wanted vegetarian. (To clarify, there is a vegetarian item on the menu, spinach enchiladas). I just don’t want the same thing at every restaurant I go. Anyone who loves food would understand that. There are 4 styles of burritos but only one that really had anything other than meat. The cheapest one is only meat for $12.99. the only one that had more was $14.99.
It had choice of meat, with mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and jalapenos and bacon.
I asked our server if I could get that without the meat and maybe more fajita veggies. He proceeded to tell me that they did not have fajita veggies. So I said, okay, how about more bell peppers? He said yes, then told me they have some veggies that they could grill up and would I like those in it too. I said yes.
What I got was a flour tortilla with a couple of mushroom slices, carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower that all tasted boiled with no seasoning inside and a sauce on the outside. The grilled veggies on the side were fabulous, and the black beans were stellar, but I felt like I had to power through the burrito that did not have any bell peppers, onions, or jalapenos. I was going to stop the conversation here and just review the scenario from here but after I ate half of my weird Normandy blend burrito, my husband insisted I say something. The server told me he would get the manager. He came back and told me that the veggies had been grilled (they had no charring or flavor so I really don’t believe that since they tasted NOTHING like the grilled side veggies) then started to walk away. I asked if the manager was going to come speak to me and he said yes. He then came back again and said that he was sorry and took the blame for the incident. When I asked if that was it, he asked what I wanted kind of rudely. I told him that I didn’t think I should pay for the $15 burrito when I clearly got a less expensive burrito. He then excused himself and came back again saying he would make the burrito $13.50 and gave us our desserts for free.
I did not need free dessert, I just didn’t think I should have to pay for something I did not get. I never did speak to the manager and left knowing that despite the sad attempt to make it right in the end, that I will not be back. My husband really enjoyed his food.

I’ve been to many Mexican Restaurants through 105 and by far this is one of my favorite restaurants this is real authentic Mexican flavors. Staff is very attentive & friendly. The drinks had a really amazing kick/taste specially Jarritos reminded me of Tequila Jalisco. I highly recommend this place.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was good and friendly. It’s a cute place and offers some outdoor seating. The chips are thin and crisp. The salsa is thin but loaded with onions, cilantro etc. I ordered el Giro. The Mexican sauce on the enchilada was delicious and the quesadillas oozed with white cheese and chicken. I wanted to try the sopapilla but you can’t order just one so I will pass until I come with more people. I will visit again and I am happy it’s so close. It’s in a strip mall with Ace Hardware. Oh

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. I ordered fajitas and pollo loco to go, plus what was supposed to be a large guacamole. What I got was a tiny scoop of guacamole that definitely didn’t match “large.” And to top it off, they completely left out the flour tortillas, which meant I had to waste almost half an hour driving back to pick them up. By the time I got home again, I had to reheat everything, and of course, reheated fajitas just aren’t the same. While the food is tasty and the staff is friendly, they have a real problem getting orders right. If they want returning customers, they need to step up their accuracy.
I appreciate the reply to the review. My wife and I will try your facility again in the future.
