Never been to this place until tonight, heard about it and heard nothing but negative reviews. This place DEFINITELY lives up to the negative hype. The bartender working was a prick, he thought he was being playful about special requests in regards to our food, but he was just being rude.
The food was average, but the bartender overhyped it, so we were all disappointed. We also got charged $1 for a small little cup of BBQ sauce which was ridiculous. The pop was flat and out of syrup, and the beer was crap.
The bartender never once asked any of us about refills. We were there for an hour. It was completely dead, 4 other people in the bar on a Tuesday night.

We took a chance on this place mainly because of the cool name. It was a little out of the way, but definitely worth the detour. Foxy’s is a quaint joint that offers the small town bar feel, with a relaxed atmosphere and a menu that will keep you satisfied. We went in the fall and during the lunch hour so it was a bit quiet, but our sever did inform us that in the summer the place is lively and elbow to elbow. As for the food I was not disappointed. We shared the traditional wings that were smaller than expected, but had great flavor. We went with mango habanero for our sauce. The one small let down was the bleu cheese dressing was a pre-packaged sauce, but it wasn’t terrible. For our main course I ordered a the Truffle Shuffle, which was the burger of the month. An excellent combination sweet, salty and savory that I think should be a regular menu item. It had a bacon onion jam that was paired with a truffle aioli, a thick burger patty with Swiss cheese. I opted for the tots and all together it was a delicious meal that was prepared perfectly. My girlfriend ordered the “Barbara Ann” sandwich which is a chicken breast sandwich with bacon, pepperjack cheese, LTO and Mayo. She asked for no Mayo and was happy that she did, because she felt the sandwich and chicken were tasty enough that they didn’t need it. She added Foxy fries to the meal which were a nice kick to the traditional French fry. Our service was stellar and the place was clean and comfortable. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d be happy to go back and try something new.

Fantastic food – I ordered the reuben, which was perfect. Came back for Taco Tuesday, and was delighted by the variety & the price point. Walleye taco & carne asada were *chef’s kiss*. The new owner is passionate about food & preparation, and it shows. Fried food that is absolutely worth the calories!

Excellent food and staff in a fun atmosphere! Had a great St. Patrick’s Day dinner with Irish music. Shepherds pie and Guinness was delicious.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere with a good size bar counter. Beer was good. But the 5 stars is earned by the new owner’s passion for great food. The wings were absolutely perfect, and I’d given up on finding good wings anywhere years ago. Can’t wait to go back and try other items off the menu. That’s right, this little dive has the best food in town.
