The food was really great that the staff was really nice and helpful I will say though I will say though the first picture is of a birria burrito. You cannot eat the burrito like a burrito you had to cut it and eat it. The second one is there birria Ramen challenge you have to finish the whole plate including the broth in 30 minutes. And that plate can feed like 3 plus people, it is a lot.

The food here is the best in all of Hampton Roads, absolutely authentic and delicious. Real homemade chips and all the meats you could desire. I’m from Southern California and this is the closest you will come to real authentic Mexican food in the area. The food is just incredible. 100 stars!

I’m torn when giving a review because as much as we loved all of the options and dinner, it still didn’t meet our expectations. My husband spends a lot of time in California and was expecting a larger, more authentic California burrito. There are two of us that aren’t huge fans of Mexican cuisine so although there were plenty of options we still struggled to find something that satisfied our taste. I tried a Salmon Mole dish and there was very little salmon in the dish itself. Although it is authentic we still were bummed when there was no Virginia white sauce. Server was great, restaurant was clean and appealing.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here for lunch, and it was a delightful experience. We started with cocktails and the chips and dip, both of which were excellent. For my main course, I tried the birria burrito—my first time having one—and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the overall quality of the food was outstanding. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and a welcoming dining experience.

While the food is great- do not expect service to accompany it. Ordered food to cater for a large group and was told that “plates” are not included. I guess the other 7 people will eat off the picnic table.

They had really good food! They accommodated us even 20 mins before the kitchen closed. Which we were so thankful for because we had a party at Thin Line brewery, next door. Carne Asada was flavorful and a good size! The carne Asada fries, also good! Chicken burrito was HUGE and tasty! And the guacamole! OMG was Sooooo GOOD!!! Thank you and will definitely try to be back…during regular business hours lol

DO NOT ORDER FOOD TO GO.. They will assure you that everything is correct, but it is not. Even if you tip 30% on a to go order it will be wrong. They are nearby and we have ordered from them a lot, the last five times the orders were all missing key items for each entree. Emailing the owner delivers no response. They don’t care if it’s a $30 order or a $400 order, it will be wrong. Picture is “chilaquiles” but it’s just tortilla chips. What a waste of money!
