Our first time was enjoyable! Great service with a wonderful waitress that walked us thru the process and a good and new experience in food! The little chips were a great treat and we loved them. Very clean and very clean restrooms! We will be back!! If you’re looking for a quiet but very good atmosphere with wonderful food and great servers this is your place!!

Got the steam dumplings as an appetizer. They were large in size very good. Also got the smashed cucumber. Which they did was too low while we waited for some fried noodles. Noodle bowl or large very flavorful lots of ingredients. Will definitely recommend and be back..

Food was phenomenal! Y’all this is literally just 33% of the plates we got; Once we started ordering we couldn’t stop. Prices are great and all the dishes are delicious making everything super accessible. The staff is incredible: exceptionally kind and attentive and will answer any questions you have about anything. Can’t wait for the new Chicken spot to open soon (same ownership) just a couple doors down if the experience here is anything to go by. Will absolutely be coming back!

Had a fantastic lunch at Golden Lanzhou Bowls. I ordered the pickled vegetable beef noodle soup with wide noodles. The broth is SO flavorful and the noodles had great texture. I believe they’re knife cut since the guy who made their hand pulled noodles is no longer with the restaurant, but hopefully they find someone to make the classic hand pulled noodles soon! The generous spoonful of pickled mustard greens complimented the broth very well.
We also got the cucumber salad, peanut and celery salad, BBQ pork buns, and some tea eggs. I hadn’t had tea eggs since my childhood, and they were just as I remember them! This is probably the only place in the area that makes them- must try.
Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. My bowl of noodles was enough for two meals.

Great food! It’s our third time returning here and we love how “REAL” the Chinese food is at Lanzhou bowls! Already recommended my friends coming here and they have big portions with tasty tasty beef soups.

Amazing little hidden spot in Murfreesboro! Portions are very generous, food and staff was great with quick and efficient service. Pricing is reasonable with vegan and vegetarian options available. Will be back!

It was ok, mediocre honestly. Once again, trusted the reviews of others but greatly underwhelmed. Maybe this is what people consider good chinese around here. We ordered a good assortment:chow mein, hunan beef, sesame chk, garlic chin broc, dumplings. Nothing tasted even remotely authentic but even so, you could probably get these same dishes from Panda express if thats what youre going for, for far less. As soon as the chinese broccoli came out, knew it would be a miss. Boiled veggie w a drizzle of sauce, no seasoning no garlic as described. Fried rice had zero flavor and the peas were not cooked/frozen. Still have not found anyone that can make good sesame chicken here. You know the light and fluffly, crispy when you bite into it. Not stale and chewy and dunked in all that sauce. The search continues i suppose.
