The Philly cheesesteak here is amazing! One of the best cheesesteak I ever eaten. The ratio of the meat and cheese and seasoning is spot on. Eating this sandwich is what made me addicted to eating Philly cheesesteak. I highly recommend to others if you are in the area to try out this spot as you will not be disappointed at all and craving for more everyday afterwards. I will most definitely return if I am ever back in town for work again.

This place was DELICIOUS. We asked chat GPT what the best place around for a decent price and it pointed us here and it was CORRECT! Drinks were tasty and fun (they put a changing color light in the drinks- at least what I got).
The cheesesteaks came out pretty quick, we were there around 7pm on a Thursday. I love the chopped meat and the cheese is all melty on the bread and peppers were chopped and mixed in as well. It was amazing! 10/10 would recommend.

Taste did not disappoint. We were less than impressed with the food in Philly until someone recommended Taste to us. The food was delicious! I highly recommend you try this place if you’re ever in Philly. Uber drivers will refer you to other places, but this is a hidden gem you don’t want to miss! 10/10

Some friends and I went to the taste bar to order some steaks and fries. Ironically, we all order the same meal. We wanted to try the Oxtail Cheesesteak with the Salmon French Fries. I was not dissapointed with the quality and quantity of the food.
The atmosphere was chill and laid back. The indoor dining area is a little tight as far as for room but there is also an outdoor seating area as well. Where we were seated became packed with people in less than 15 minutes. People were coming in by groups.
The service was amazing our hostess name was Stephanie who guides us with all the answers we did have some questions since it was our first time there.
Overall it was good. I would like to eat outside in the patio next time.

Best Chicken Cheese Steak I’ve had—East Coast to West Coast! Service was a little slow (our order got missed), but once it came out… Babeeee, worth every bite. I had the Chicken Cheese Steak, hubby had the Jerk Chicken, my granddaughter had the regular Cheese Steak. Big portions, big flavor—I wish I grabbed one to-go for my flight. The Jolly Rancher Cocktail was an absolute hit! Perfection.

Food: People of all walks of life, aliens, and creatures of the sea, you have to go to TASTE. Their cheesesteaks will stop you from hitting those tourist traps and feeling “Mediocrerized”. I personally had the Jerk Chicken Cheesesteak and I will never, ever share mine, even though it is huge! Mine, ALL mine! SPicy, tantalizing, insatiable to your palate. ( For transparency, I am allergic to onions, so mine came without ) The combination of all their ingredients will take you an erogenous zone, if you know what I mean.
My son ordered the basic beef cheesesteak, but DAMN: it was not ordinary, but extraordinary! He is a student at PENN and he will now be a forever customer. THe sauce they use, the tender beef had him salivating!
Yes, this is a Black Owned business and I am happy to say, it earns all the kudos and stars, not because of Blackness, but excellence!

A great experience. Took a friend here who wasn’t from Philly and she loved it. Service was good and good war good too. I got the oxtail cheesesteak which was really good but I probably won’t get it again, very filling I took most of it home. I’d love to try their plain cheesesteak the next time I return. Jerk chicken rolls are amazing!

I’ve been to Taste over 20 times since they opened and it’s changed so much. You don’t have the option for sesame seed rolls anymore which was my favorite and now they are charging automatic gratuity on all checks. Not to mention there is not one single person behind the counter that knows how to make a drink! DO NOT ORDER ANY DRINKS, they are not proper bartenders and I’m speaking as a bartender myself. If you do order drinks, expect it to be sour tasting with no smooth flavor and no alcohol.
I would recommend TAKE OUT ONLY, the Oxtail and the Salmon are my favorites but be aware of oxtail bone bits (I had an huge bone in my oxtail one time) and I also had a stem from the spinach or something brown in the salmon cheesesteak. I did receive a comp meal because that oxtail bone was huge and that was completely unacceptable. The Jerk Chicken is also good too.
There is a lot of staff turnover so expect to see new people every time you dine in. Kai was the best server there but sadly he left. O was cool too but I haven’t seen him in a while. Ash has been there for a minute so she’s always there behind the bar.

The best and biggest cheesesteak I got in Philly. Everything about it was perfect, and the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had, so fresh and tasty! My server, I didn’t get her name, but she was quite attentive, asking me was I ok multiple times, that’s good service. She’s very beautiful too lol, anyway I’ll be back in the future.

After many great reviews I’ve seen, I decided to try this place out 2weeks ago and I’m glad I did ! I ordered the oxtail cheesesteak with fries and it was really good! Honestly, this thing was big enough for 2 people so I shared half of it with my husband. Great customer service and great atmosphere! I’d highly recommend visiting here!
